I Love Spelling Install Problems

I have tried to load DK Multimedia's "I love spelling" CD ROM on 3 different PC's ( 2 XP & one Vista) on the auto install process each time the programme fails to launch saying "The sound software has not been properly installed or is disabled" - it then forces me to quit the programme.

How do I source and load up the necessary drivers? I am guessing that this is the problem - your advice on this approach or any other you can suggest would be most appreciated.

Regards

Hey rob

with respect to other experts who posted,

the problem indicates that the sound drivers needs to be re-installed and configured so that the software you are trying to install will then work.

for you to know that the sound is working for those computers, have you tried playing some music on it?

if those computers are having no problems playing music and you actually hear them fine, the problem may not be on those computers now and the problem may be with the CD ROM. because you already tried it on 3 different computers and all has the same problem.

what you want to do is look for a replacement for that CDROM you have there and hopefully this will solve your problem.

thanks for using fixya.

It clearly shows that the driver for your computer is not installed. OR this software may require support of a sound software as well EX Sound Blaster.

Make sure that the sound otherwise is working fine on the computer

Also check as you might need to have a mic plugged in as well while installing the software.
