I bought digital Canon EOS Rebel XT two years ago, and I have really big problem with AF. I got one half of the pictures fuzzy. Sometimes the green light is on, I took the picture and it is fuzzy. Next shot is fine. I never have this kind of problem with Canon Rebel ( not digital). Now I can't rely on Auto Focus at all. Please explain to me where is a problem. Thanks, Irene

Is the lens on AF mode?

Have you tried more than one lens to determine whether it's the lens or the camera itself?

You may want to have lens calibrated. Send in for service?

My Canon EOS Rebel XT 350d will not autofocus.

Sound like a broken ribbon cable in the lens. Needs to be replaced but get a quote as it may be cheaper to replace the lens with a secondhand one.

Display only works after the shot canon eos rebel xt

The XT does not have a live view capability. It works as SLRs have worked for half a century: you frame the picture through the viewfinder and click the shutter.

Or are you saying that you can't see the menu on the display?

No AF point display indicator in Creative Zone modes.

In creative mode I would imagine that you are required to choose the focus point. Try the arrow buttons.

Download pictures from my Rebel EOS to my computer

Take a look at Picasa, from Google. Also take a look at Irfanview. I haven't used Irfanview in over a year (since I moved from a PC to a Mac - it's the one piece of software I really miss on my Mac), but before I moved to the Mac it was my primary photo organizer and viewer. It's a very impressive program for free software from an individual programmer (Irfan).

Sounds like you have dust on your censor. There are countless ways to get dust off of your censor, just look around on google. I would suggest that you be careful when you change your lenses thoughs.
