If you want to use the toner cartridge after the printer decides that it's empty, you can do it by going into the Machine Settings in the menu, and option 8 (at least on my Magicolor 2590MF) says "Toner empty stop?". Just change that to NO, and you're set to go.

Re: change k toner error message
Try to replace it again, put the old empty one in and reboot printer, after reboot, and try changing back also there can be some menu about changing consumables, sry, don't remember right now. also you may clean the chip on toner cartridge.
I do not have a new one here. I've tried taking the old one out and shaking it and reinstalling it. It cannot be empty since I rarely use color for printing. I hate to have to buy expensive new cartridges for this printer, but it won't work with an error message about the cartridges.
This error is caused by the drive gears missing teeth on the top cover assembly. Open up your printer and remove the toner cartridges when you start to close the cover you will notice 4 white connectors that are sprung loaded and they move as the top cover is slowly shut. This is the toner motor connectors and there will be a problem with the black connector. This issue requires an engineer to remove and replace the connectors

You have to empty out the waste toner bottle... The bottle is a milky white plastic and I believe it is right under the fuser unit. It should slid out toward you. Carefully dump the toner out of the bottle into a plastic garbage bag and re install the bottle and you are done....
hey, wel if the copier is showing a message saying that the waste toner is full it means the waste toner deposit is attached to the drum unit.
so, open up the frotn cover, pull down the (drum)-lock lever, it should release the left cover, then pull towards you the drum unit, and there you go. the black case with a small trasparent cap is the waste toner deposit.
you have two ways to go.
1 you may remove that rounded transparent plastic cap and be able to vaccum the waste toner (dont even try reusing that toner, it wont work ok) or
2 you can go the other way wich allows you to easily vaccum it: remove the drum (the roller itself) then the charger roller, then the cleaning blade and there yo go again, but now you got more space to vaccum and believe me it is easier this way.
an additional choice would be to buy a new drum unit gpr18 i think (check please) and forget all about vaccum-ing.
