I have a Kenwood range cooker about 14months old. When the main oven reaches a certain temperature (HOT) the fan begins to make a banging noise as though it is catching on something. I have taken the internal grill off and check to see if the fan touches anything (NO). Any ideas!!!!!

The fan in the elcectric oven ...straight oven on right side...the fan seems to start and then stick making a very loud noise after it is on for a minute. When I opened the oven and observed I could see...

Could be a problem with your element. After a while the element s can distort causing it to hit of the fan. If you remove the inner panel that is in front of the fan/element by removing 4 screws holding it, this will allow you to see the element and fan and if required gently bend the element away from the fan. Hope this helps.

Bosch HBN 70 Fan oven will not heat up to temperature, fan and light are working just no heat

99% of the time the problem will be a faulty element or burnt off wire at the element terminal. Best way is to pull the back cover off the oven and check the terminal connections. If these are okay put a set of test lamps across the terminals and you should have 240 volts. If you have 240 volts this tells you that the wiring is okay and the element is faulty. When you turn the oven setting to fan forced selection the power is delivered to the fan forced fan motor and the oven element at the same time. I am not familiar with this exact oven but most fan forced ovens have two fans. There is the fan at the back of the oven that comes on with the oven element and then the extractor fan in the cavity of the oven, which you cannot see but can hear. I trust you are talking about the fan forced oven fan which is generally at the back of the oven.

Heard popping noise and circuit to stove blew. could not set time or oven temp when reset breaker

Hi
Sounds like your oven heater failed. Not sure if its a fan oven or static type. If you hear a fan inside the oven then its classed as a fan oven

Hi, we have a St George wall oven that is making a loud rattling noise that starts when the oven is heated and then comtinues after the oven is turned off. Any ideas on what might be the problem?

there is a casing fan which is out of sight and that is what is making the noise. take oven out, remove top and fan will be revealed. may have to be replaced or possibly try a squirt of wd40
