If you did not pre-install tracking software on your blackberry than there is no way to track it. The cell phone company can track it, but it is not worth their time and cost. The police of course can also track it but probably will not, sorry to give you bad news. Best bet is to go directly to your supervisor who will have the phone cancelled and wiped before any important business information is stolen and used by the thief.

Please explain your problem.
Your problem includes some legal solutions.
If you lost your 5800 but your have your IMEI number than you can go to your Law Enforcement and ask them to find this IMEI number means which sim is using this number. Then your thief can be caught.
If you LOST YOUR IMEI TOO then its still easy... just ask your POLICE etc to contact your Service provider and ask them for IMEI number which was registered on a date when your cell phone was with you. (I am sure you didn't lost your mobile number and you know what that is....) so using your mobile number and date when you last used it they can get the criminal out of jungle and you can sue him or anything you want. But this involves the law enforcement agencies I solved 3 robbery and scam issues in my homeland.
I hope dear you'll get justice.
Sorry to hear that your phone is lost but i cant help you to find and can suggest you to call and give a complain to your service provider. They will block your sim and try to trace it.
f u lost your mobile, send an e-mail to [email protected]with the following info. Your name: Address: Phone model: Make: Last used No.: E-mail for communication: Missed date: IMEI No.: "No need to go to police station"
& also Ifyour mobile phone is lost or stolen you can inform your service providerwith yours IMEI number who can then put the serial number on a shareddatabase. This list stops this particular phone from registering on anynetwork and will be useless for anyone even if the mobiles SIM card is changed!
Its not advisable to post your imei. Pls inform your service provider about this so they can give you advice as to how to recover or at least disable your sim/phone.
