I HAVE A2150 POULAN CHAINSAW THAT THE HOSES ON THE CARB HAVE BROKEN OFF FROM THE PRIMER BULB I SEE WHERE THE SMALL ONE GOES BUT CANNOT FIGURE OUT WHERE THE OTHER ONE HOOKS UP I ONLY SEE ONE SPOT FOR A HOSE TO HOOK UP NOT TWO

OK, you should have three hoses, the main fuel delivery hose with the filter in the tank on it this hose goes to the carb connection on the right hand side of the carb body, the hose from the left hand side of the carb body goes to the fuel purge bulb with the short connection ( suction side ), the longer connection on the fuel purge ( pressure side ) goes back to the tank, so to recap the bulb pulls fuel from the carb and dumps back to the tank, the common miss conception is that the bulb is a primer and pushes fuel into the carb.

Short line on primer bulb goes to the left side of the carb. The long side on the primer bulb goes to in the fuel tank as the return line.

Checked all the parts lists, they seem to use the same primer through all types no.s part no. 530047213.

Who connected these hoses? the normal routing for a machine with a primer is like this, the fuel hose from the tank with the filter on the end goes to the carb fuel inlet nozzel ( not to the primer ) nearest to the pump cover ( cover on carb held with one screw ) the pipe from the metering side of the carb connects to the shorter nozzel on the primer bulb ( suction side ), the longer nozzel on the primer ( pressure side ) connects to the pipe going back to the tank, just remember the primer pulls fuel from the carb,into the bulb, and pushes it back into the tank, it is not actually a primer it is a purge. because it is connected this way it is impossible to flood the engine no matter how many times the bulb is pressed.

the longer one goes to the carb

Gas line from primer bulb to carb may be cracked or broken. Check gas lines for damage. If not that then there maybe an overflow problem in side the carb caused by the float shut off not seating correct or worn "o" ring etc.

clean out the two gas hoses with a pipecleaner then check replace the in-tank fuel filter if the carb still does not recieve gas your fuel float in the carbretor is not rising to let in the gas this will require disassembly of the WT324 carbretor

the large hose from the tank goes to the suction side of the primer bulb. The large line from the out put side of the bulb goes to the bottom inlet of the carb.
the small line goes from the top outlet tube on the carb back into the tank near the primer bulb.

Line with filter goes to carb inlet,
Line from carb goes to inlet side of bulb.
Line from bulb goes to tank

Carb has 2 nipples. top nipple gets line with filter on it from tank, bottom nipple receives line from bulb other side of bulb returns to tank
