Question about LG DLE7177 Dryer

1 Answer

We were just moved by a moving company and my dryer worked the day before they moved it. Now, my LG DLE7177RM won't power on at all. We had our maintenance come and check the outlet, that's fine, we bought a new plug, it's hooked up correctly, nothing. The drum light doesn't come on either. Any suggestions/help??

Sounds like damage was done to the control panel during the move. You will need a qualified LG tech to test the controls and see if the power button was broken during the move.

LG Dryer DLE7177RM The dryer just stopped working and I get shock when I open the door. I tried turning the circuit breaker on and off but it didn't help.

CALL FOR SERVICE !!! Leave breaker off. Let an appliance service person check the power supply wires and possibly internal wire harnes fault. If this is a new dryer, the power cord hook up may have been done improperly, or the household dryer recepticle may be wired improperly.

I just moved and my LG dryer does not heat up.

Your ignitor (glow bar) got broken during the move. They are more fragile than your grandmother's fine china
