Question about Teac PD-H300 CD Player
I know this sounds a little brutal for what is after all is a delicate piece of hi-fi; I've just fixed mine by turning it upside down and giving it a good shake, knocking the underside a couple of times. The tray jumps out of its guide track, you're just shakin it back in.

Brilliant advice. Just sorted out my Teac cd player which had exactly the same problem. Thanks Neil!

I just wiggled the tray up and down a few times when closed and it opened. I had the same problem as you with it not opening.

Thank you, Neil. I was just about to bin this CD player, having been told by John Lewis that it would cost more to repair than it was worth. It really works!
