Question about Acer Aspire 5315 Notebook
Sounds like the LCD panel may need to be replaced. To further check it, try to test if the same issue happens when you connect an external monitor to the laptop. Also, go to the BIOS screen and see if the same line are showing. If no issues with external monitor and line also shows in the BIOS, it would confirm the issue is specific to the LCD of the laptop. If within warranty, you can refer to Acer for repairs and/or replacement. If out of warranty and in doubt, see if you will get other advise from other users, or have a local tech verify it, whichever works for you.
