This is usually caused by a failed component in the power circuit within the camera and can usually be repaired fairly inexpensively. However, it's not a user serviceable problem and will need to be repaired qualified service technician.

My name is Rick and I'm a professional repair technician with over 20 years in the business and have repaired many of these. I'm semi retired and work from home with little overhead so I can keep repair costs low. If you decide to have the camera repaired, please click HERE for a directory listing that suits your needs.

Red line on sceen?

I had a similar problem with my LCD screen TV, and to my dismay, my warranty just ran out. A thin red line began to appear on the right side of the screen, and since many online and expert sources pretty much say replace the expensive LCD screen or get a professional to fix it (in which I suspect to be a business plot to get people to go to pricey experts), I decided to look for other possible alternatives.
Here is some tips/solutions I was given (and it worked! at least for me):
1) Turn off the LCD and unplug the power source and let it rest for 5-10 minutes. Turn it back on and see if it disappears or improve. (This is the one I used.)
2) While turned off, try jiggling gently all chords connected to the TV (cables, power chords, etc.); you could even try unplugging and replugging the chords/cables. Turn the TV back on and see if the red line disappeared or improve. (This is the one I heard worked for others.)
If the above doesn't work then I'm afraid you do have a bad panel on your screen and will need to call in the experts or get a new TV. I hope this will help. Best Wishes.

Constant beeping from Cavalry external HD

Can't say exactly what it means technically speaking, but my experience with such a problem is that the drive is 'dead'. Of course trying it on another computer would be constructive.

I have a Dell XPS 600 desktop computer. I cannot get the power to stay on. None of the diagnostic lights light up. I have checked all of the connections and everything is secure.

Here's what to try: Disconnect everything from the motherboard except the CPU and memory. You may leave the video connected to see what, if any, error message you might get.
You didn't say if you got any beeps on startup. They can tell you what might be the problem.
If this doesn't work, remove the memory modules. The power should stay on but you'll probably get either a steady beep or a bunch of little beeps. (I don't have the Dell error codes close at hand at the moment).
If this doesn't work, you have narrowed the problem to one of three things: The CPU, the motherboard, or the power supply.
You didn't mention just what happens when you turn it on--just that it won't stay on. Error messages are helpful if you get any on the screen as are any beep tones.

I bought my ps3 in london and now im in Paris the ps3 turns on but wont turn off and it doesn't show up on the screen and the controller keeps on beeping none stop

Easy to solve, the way to turn off the ps3 is simply hold the power button until you hear one beep, then let go. That way you wont have to go to the menu, and your controller beeps because it is low on battery try using a charger that connects to the ps3

My FP 7317 monitor power doesn't work.When I open it,I heared beep sound frequintely.can you help me/

Good Day Gmariamd!

A beep codes has different meaning. Depending on the number of beeps and the series of short or long beeps.

But most frequently, a beeps were heard when a video card and or memory card is loosened. You may need to remove it from the motherboard and reseat them properly on the slot of the motherboard. Just remember when you do it computer must be off.

I was trying to format my computer when sudenly i moved the cd drive to conect a dvd drive , i think i heard static , thats when the red led turns on or beeps 5 times ,, could it be that the power source...

Make sure your RAM and all your cards are seated correctly. I'm guessing based on the static sound and immediate loss of power that your power supply is damaged and needs to be replaced. If the fan in your power supply doesn't turn on, this is in indication that you have a dead power supply. Smell the power supply to make sure it isn't burnt. It will be very obvious if it is.

My Polaroid camera i631 won't turn on!!

Here is the solution for your problem. If you look at your camera at an angle, you will see the zoom lens is little bent to the side. I want you to put press on it to snap-it into it's place. After you heard a click, then turn-on your camera. This will fix your cam.

Monitor screen stays black even though it's on

Remove the memory from your unit - power it up it should beep if full communication is still happening across your m/board. No beeps you board has died. if it beeps and your using two diffent memory modules just fitt one leave the battery out and power it up = if no display pull power swap out the memory and try again. if display occurrs you have a defective memory module - throw that failed unit away
