You have to make sure the case of the plug is making good connection against the metal on motor. Use file or sandpaper to get good connection on the plug and the motor.

SOURCE: starter rope
First, i will take that the rope is in the front. If so, you will need to remove trimmer shaft, throttle assembly, so you will be able to remove starter housing.

SOURCE: NEED TO REPLACE SPARK ARRESTER
Hi and welcome to FixYa. I am Kelly.
There are 6 model numbers with Mighty Light in the name:
UT-21546 UT-21907 UT-21947 UT-21566 UT-21967 They all appear to use this muffler: http://www.jackssmallengines.com/partslookupcart.cfm?arisku=308990001&aribrand=Homelite&arireturnurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.jackssmallengines.com%2Fhelp.cfm%3Fario%253dgetAssemblyCollectionariamparipa%253dAnjgY*mKGXmndGJGQbyJww%253d%253dariamparica%253dwBQND3HPqCdAJrT8YcDNyA%253d%253dariamparioem%253dVOGGWB2rODFgBxRc4uyLwQ%253d%253dariamparit%253da439d57a-1a88-41c6-a006-f87871a54b42&ariqty=1 If this is not what you were looking for you can go to this site and find your model number. Just note that homelite engines are usually in the 2nd drawing of each unit: http://www.jackssmallengines.com/help.cfm Choose parts search by model (Folders) Homelite Homelite (again) String Trimmers Then search for your model number The engine is under general assy. It is replaced by simply unscrewing the mounting screws / removing the muffler and then mounting the new muffler using the original hardware and reverse sequence of removal for gaskets and heat shields. Thanks for choosing FixYa, Kelly
