Problems with sending documents in Panasonic...

I have an old Panasonic KX-F2781BX Plain Paper Thermal machine that I bought ten years ago. When I send documents, they are not coming out readable on the other side - the printing is too faint or not legible. I tested the copy function on the machine and I'm having the same problem. Can you please help with this ?

Actually I had an engineer come in to take a look at it and he said that the scanner needed replacement. Given that the machine is over 10 years old, I guess it's not surprising. Thanks.

Sounds like there may be a problem in the optics, the mirrors under the **** glass and both sides of the **** glass should be cleaned first...

Probably a fault with the thermal print strip. or the print strip may just be dirty, in which case you could clean it with a cloth and some alcohol.
