Can I lay a samsung led tv flat when transporting

Yes you can, but be sure to put down a thick blanket and put the face down so the screen will not be scratched. Lying one down will not affect the picture whatsoever when you set it back up

I need to replace my table top stand for mySony 32 inch Model # KDL 32S3000, can you guide me in the right direction

The instructions are in your USER MANUAL found at the following link:

http://www.docs.sony.com/release/KDL32SL130.pdf

In general though you should lay the tv screen side down on something VERY soft and flat like a bed so that the screen doesn't get scratched at all.

Then find the 3 philips head screws that hold the base to the tv. They should have replaced into the proper holes in the back of the tv when the base was removed initially. Unscrew and remove them and then place the base into position on the tv.

Once the base is fitted into position, insert and tighten the 3 screws again. The tv can now be lifted vertical again and placed where desired. Be sure not to press too hard on the actual LCD screen part when handling.

Good luck and post back how you make out.

Haw to remove the base from sharp LCD TV 56 in

I find this guide about how to remove the Base of an LG LCD TV. Things You'll Need:
* Table or other flat surface
* Soft cloth or towel
* Phillips screwdriver

Instructions:
1 Unplug your LG LCD TV from its power supply and unhook any other cables from the TV.
2 Lay a towel or a soft cloth onto a table or another flat, supportive surface.
3 Lay the LG LCD TV face down on the towel, which will protect the screen from being damaged.
4 Use the Phillips screwdriver to remove the four bolts that hold the base in place. The bolts are located in the center of the TV near the bottom.
5 Slide the stand out from the bottom of the TV.
6 Press the protection cover, which is supplied with the TV, into the spot on the TV where you removed the base until you hear it click into place.
7 Re-insert the four bolts you removed into the holes on the back of the TV and tighten them with the Phillips screwdriver.

I hope this help; remember to rate this answer. Good luck.

maryam_edesa, Unfortunatly once they the screen panel is damaged it cant be repaired. the only thing you can do is replace the screen panel but it would cost more than a new tv.
I would suggest you use it untill dies byitself.

I wish to move my Panasonic Vieta to another address.

I would wrap a thick cloth towel, blanket or comforter around the screen and lay it face down (screen down) on a flat surface, making sure the TV will non move in any way. If you transport it face up, there may be a chance that something may fall on the screen and damage it.

My Sony trinitron model number kv32hs500 were is the

If you take the TV and lay it flat on its face, then you will be able to get the whole back cover off. Once the back cover is removed, and with the TV still on its face, there will be some a large circuit board sticking up in the air from what is normally the bottom of the TV. At this point you may want to tip the TV back onto its bottom (so the screen is showing again). Now, on the right side of the circuit board, near a couple things that look like large batteries sticking up, will be the two IC chips. They are about an inch long and maybe half an inch wide. They are only a couple inches from each other. Hope this helps you locate them.

I need to know if it is possible to transport side by side refrigerators laying flat. or almost flat. This will be a short move for about 1/2 hour.

Hello, Yes you can move your side by side laying on it's back..it is most important though that when you have it in it's new place you leave it unpluged for 24 hours so the oils can run back into the compressor. If you have any other questions please feel free to comment again...Mike

Yes you can lay it down flat on its screen just make sure it is padded so the screen doesnt get scratched. I transport projection units this way all the time even DLPs however do not transport LCD or plasma units in this manner as thats not recomended.
