SOURCE: Our caravan fridge electrolux rm4206

remove the fridge from caravan, now turn upside down and leave for as long as possible. what this does is get rid of any air locks in the gas. once left for a month or too turn back and leave for a day to setal and refit to caravan.this should solve your problem, it has been tried and tested on our caravan and worked. (This will not work on a domestic house fridge because they work on a different system)

SOURCE: fridge wont get cold with gas

This is worth a try. Disconect the gas and power make sure the pilot light is out. Turn the fidge unside down overnight then unright again. Try it on gas agian. This worth a couple of goes before giving up.

I have a 2453 150 litre caravan fridge not working on 240 but works on gas. What maybe the problem and can i get a mobile repairer

It sounds like the electric heater is not working as you say it works on gas, so the expensive bit is OK.
An appliance engineer should be able to get the spares and fix it.

Electrolux 3 way fridge will not work on 12v or 240,switch lights up, ok on gas. can i repaire?or have i got to replace? i think the model No is rm4200 or rm4230

Hi My three way fridge has the same problem. Have solved the 12v problem as it was not wired to the 12v invertor. Do you have an on board battery supply? the 12v is usless and runs a battery flat in no time. Better off to use gas. Hope to have the electrician here next week to check 240v so will let you know if we find a problem. Graham.
