1994 plymouth acclaim no brake lites as soon as i put in a new fuse it instantly pops

So, open the trunk of the car and see if you have a couple of plastic panels covering the taillights on each side, and an access panel to the extra brake light in the back window. That access may be either inside the car or from inside the trunk.
Remove the panels and remove the brake light bulbs. If you don't know which ones they are, take 'em all out, make yourself a map and tell yourself where each one came from, and set those aside.
Now replace that fuse again, and press the brake pedal. If the fuse blows, and you don't even have any brake light bulbs in, you have a short in the wiring somewhere.
This might be from an earlier car accident where some wire insulation has rubbed off, or from someone messing with the wires, like when someone adds a trailer wiring harness to the rear.
Let's pretend the fuse doesn't blow.
Now, put back one bulb at a time, and each time press the brake pedal to see if that was the offending bulb.
This should help you pinpoint the problem.

Motor runs but no heat

check lint trap. then check heating element or thermal fuse. both located in back panel, before removing back panel unplug from wall. locate heating element remove wires and with volt meter set on continuity check for reading or continuous beeping sound. if no sound or reading, replace element. or locate thermal fuse located near exhaust duct, the fuse is coated in white or black plastic with 2 leads sticking up, remove wire and no continuity replace it i hope this will help

Wire inside is torn

Hello

This tends to happen eventually with headphones, mostly by accident. I know.....

Things that you will need are a soldering iron, screw drivers and such.

You will have to disassemble the headphones, begin by removing any visible screws, you may have to carefully remove the soft pads around the ears to expose screws.
eventually you will get it open.

It is pretty simple repair. You have to cut the old wired out, possibly expose some new wire and then solder on its place.

When you got the wires in properly again, plug the headphones in and listen if you get sound from both, if these include a microphone also test it.

Then reassemble the headphones.

Let me know if you require further assistance.
Thanks,
Ekse

Accidently knocked projector and it has got lines accross the picture about every inch or so when viewed on 6 foot screen lines go vertical top to bottom

first reset the settings to factory default. if the lines are still there, you'll have to reset the dmd chip board with the main board. this is a little indepth. if you are not comfortable taking things apart (almost completely) and successfully putting them back together, send it in for repair to an infocus repair center. if you can do it, here you go:

remove the 4 brass and 4 silver screws from the bottom and the 2 silver screws from the back. through the top vent on the back panel and using a flat head screwdriver, unclip the 3 clips holding the back panel on. once removed, unplug the 2 wire harnesses. remove the top and front panel. now unplug the large wire harness and remove all the brass screws on the 2 power supply boards (also the screw for the ground wire). there is a black clip in the middle of the larger power board. remove the boards. now remove the brass screws holding the metal plate on. unplug all of the plugs from the main board. remove the screws from the board. now, facing the rear of the machine, the main board is attached to the dmd chip board behind the lens assembly under the heat sink. do not lift the board up from the back, pull it back towards the rear of the projector away from the dmd board. now reinsert it all the way and replace everything you removed in reverse order. good luck!

1994 Camry wont turn or do anything for that matter

Hello,
The red wire is the starter wire, this is the main wire that connects to your starter switch to tell the relay to turn over that starts your car, the other wires are the ingnition wires, these wires is what allows the vehicle to turn on (lights, radio, engine,)
What it sounds like he did when he removed the alarm module was disconnect the power wire that supplys the starter switch.
Try tracing the wire back to where it is connected and see if there is any wire cut the same way as the other end.
try connecting a a remote starter switch from the battery directly to the starter solenoid. this will allow you to see if the wiring inside the car is disconnected or if it is the starter.

Rear speakers will not work

# 1... check the balane and faders... make sure they're all centered, next... take the radio oud... and get you an old speaker... strip 2 wires of the same color... and connect the speaker... if you have sound... tape the wires... and try the second set... what ever you do... do not... let the wires touch... and do not... connect the speakers to ground... you will fry the outputs in the radio, if you find a set of wires with no sound... chances are... you blew out the outputs in the radio, now... after you determin that all the wire seta have sound... the next thing to do is pull off the panel for the back door, first thing you do is look for any screws... if you find some... remove them... once you have them out... put one hand on one side of the door... and just pull gently... it'll come off with a very little effort... then disconnect the wires for doorlocks... the windows... and all that... then disconnect speaker wiring harness... get a 9volt battery... and touch the speaker terminals... and you should hear a pop... if you do... the speaker is good... if not... replace... then just reverse the procedure to install... good luck to you

Try removing the back panel and try to power up the set and see if you can determine if the popping sound is coming from the flyback, in case your not sure what a flyback is it has a large red wire coming out of the top of it. If thats where its coming from let me know as you may need a flyback.

How do hook up front panel power switch to motherboard

The simple way is to remove the front panel of the computer trace the wires to the front panel leds, make note of color pair to each led. The using the manual that came with the motherboard locate the schematic for the JFP1 connector on the motherboard, it show's where the leds wires connect to operate. If you have no manual, if you look very closely at the connector you will see where the led wires connect, you may have to use a magnifiying glass and flash light. You cannot damage anything if you accidently place the led wires in the wrong place. If the panel led wires are in a single connector and won't work on the motherboard, you can remove the wires from the connector by using a very small sharp pointed pick to push down the retaining tab on each wire, thus enabling it to be removed from the connector, just be patient.
