Hello,

You will need to clean your printer, after cleaning it, you will ensure all the cartridges are well fixed and are intact, then you now reset the printer, follow the steps below to reset the printer,

1. Without turning the unit off, unplug the power cord from the back of the product.
2. Press and hold ?# and 6? keys.
3. While holding those keys plug the power cord back in.
4. Wait until the screen goes blank before you release those keys.
5. Follow on printer screen instructions.

If that did not fix the problem, try this,

  1. Unplug the power cable from printer while the printer is powered on.
  2. Press and hold OK and HELP buttons while plugging in the power cord. Wait for the screen to go black or blank before releasing the keys.
  3. Just turn on the printer and configure your printer new.
The problem should be fix with this.

Take care.

What we have here is a failure to communicate. The printer's ink sensors are dirty. Open your ink door, pull all your ink carts, look inside there. You'll see black "U"-shaped plastic pieces. Those are the sensors and they use an electro-magnetic field to sense the ink. Because your ink is magnetic as well and there is ink polluting your sensors.

Anyway get a wet Q-TIP (moist) and maybe some pliars or hemostats and reach down in there and clean all around the inside of those sensors. Dry it up with a different Q-TIP.

If possible put your machine into Maintenance Mode and do a reset. Otherwise unplug and reboot your Printer/Scanner/Copier. That should do it even if it takes a couple tries cleaning or rebooting

As per the information received it indicates that your router is rebooting intermittently. This clearly indicates fault with the router. I would recommend you to replace the router.

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. Please revert back for any more assistance on the same.

The ink jet printers need to be handled a specific way when transported and if the person left the ink cartridges in during shipping or getting it to you, the ink had leaked. The printer needs to be unplugged and totally cleaned with alcohol to remove all the dried up ink.

Also another thing to try is to unplug the printer because sometimes printers hold jobs even if you clear them from the computer so unplugging it is sorta like doing a hard reboot on the computer.
When you plug it in the ink cartidge should move.

Ink system has failed 0xc18a0206

This is easily fixed with the following key sequences. You do NOT have to open the printer and unplug a circuit board.

1) press * and # at the same time
2) press 1, 2, 3 and “support R0632M” should display
3) press > and “information menu” should display
4) press > and “configuration menu” should display
5) press OK and “hardware failure status” should display
6) press OK “failure status: clear”. Press OK to clear
7) press CANCEL
8) press CANCEL
9) press CANCEL
10) turn printer off, unplug power cord for 2 minutes, plug cord back in then turn printer back on.
NOTE: I did this and the fist time the error came back. Do the sequence again (as I did) and the error will be replaced with the usual print cartridge initialization screens. Print a test page to make sure.

INK

Hi Shakey

If you try resetting the printer (Turn it Off and On) it will normally re-read the ink level and indicate the proper ink levels.

Please ensure you always turn your printer off by the power switch when not in use as this will allow the printer to "Park" the heads and prevent them from drying out.

If you unplug the printer, or use a powerbar the printer doesn't have the opportunity to go though its "Power Down Sequence" and ensure the heads are parked properly.

It is also recommended to use the printer (at least once a month) if not more frequently daily/weekly to ensure the heads are clean.

If you go fo long periods without changing cartridges, the cartridge itself can start to dry out, and will sometimes also contribute to clogging the heads more quickly.

Printer won"t printer

I would open Control panel and delete you printer. Then would reload the printer drivers from the cd just like you did when it was new. also check the ink cartridges to make sure they are snapped in.Sounds like it lost a driver file.
