Blame windows updates. Start using a card reader instead of the camera.

Mac does not recognise my camera

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as iPhoto or Nikon Transfer.

Driver wont install on my laptop for micam junior

Ensure the camera is NOT plugged in during the installation of the drivers and application.
For further information, consult the user manual. If you don't have a user manual, I have uploaded one for you to download here: http://www.filejumbo.com/Download/26D632AAF285B1D0
Once installed, then plug the camera in using the USB cable for Windows to be able to recognise the hardware. Then use the software (Photo Impression 4) to pull the photos from the camera.
Hope this helps!

Do not connect the camera to the computer. Buy a small card reader and use it instead. It will download the photos many times faster than the camera can.
