The heater rod (quartz lamp) inside the fuser roll is cut/ burned. Unfortunately Xerox will not support it as spare. You should buy a new
fuser.
Replacing it is easy. Just a few screws to take off on the right side plus two electrical plugs.

The Xerox is a business machine and has a setting to reduce the size of scans by percentage.

Read the instruction manual to turn it off or play with the buttons.

Error message Xerox Phaser 8400 07.010.43.4819

The post was a little confusing. You have an 8400, correct? (not an M20)

The 07,010 error is normally a bad process motor 401-1000-80

You should also change 2 camshafts at the same time 401-1003-80 and 384-1874-80. The whole job is medium difficult and takes 2-3 hours.

Open heat error what does it mean and How do I

Turn off your printer, unplug the unit. Then plug it back in and turn it on.
This error message means that the printer needs service. See the following URL for more details: http://www.xerox.com/office/PE120kb/,case=R1018019549

I wish that I could be of more help.

I get an error message that says "Printer Error - Contact Service: Report Fault: 15.004.45.1758" Whats does it mean and how can I fix it? Thanks

That means the 2 halogen lamps that serve as the drum heater have gone out. Either one or both have blown.
They simply are 2, ,, 150 watt halogen lamps that you can replace, Takes about an hour to do, I can send you instructions if you want.

Hi abonk:
This is your problem.

37,004.4x - PEST_FAULT_RESERVOIR0_HEATER_DISCONNECT
PEST - Reservoir0 Disconnect Reservoir0 is not drawing the expected power from the
supply.
1. Run the printhead Reservoir Heater test.
2. Verify printhead wiring.

Your preheater needs to be replaced.
Xerox Preheater Part # 119641980
This part will have to be replaced by a certified Xerox technician.
Hope this helps

Xerox Phaser 8400 error code 37,004.40:27697

The majority of the time that code means the print head has failed.
That is a print head heater error.
You can find some places that sell print heads for about $150 , you would have to google the model number for that.
Xerox would charge $750 for a new print head, uninstalled.

Xerox 8550 Error message 19,003.48:121016

19,003.48 Scale and offset voltage error too large. Something is wrong with the Electronics Module or Wave Amplifier.

that is pretty straight forward. More then likely the elsctronics module has failed. Wave amplifier is pretty unlikely.
If you do not have a maintenance agreement or under warranty, that is a very expensive module to replace.
Check @ 1-800-835-6100 to see if you are under warranty or have coverage.
