The jet may be plugged, it's no bigger than a pencil, easy to stop up. Many times one of the little plugs lines up on it, and you can check it, push out the blockage maybe. A small rod should go all the way to the impeller.
If it is on the pressure side about the only repair would be to get it welded. If on the suction side you MIGHT be able to "V" it out slightly and use JB Weld or maybe even Bondo... Tose will NOT work on the pressure side however.
