I am assuming you have a charged battery. i would check the brushes on the armature. some times if the drill is dropped or set down hard, the brushes will dislodge.

How do you fix a jammed trigger on the Ryobi 10 Amp Electric Power head

Not really a fix but it worked for me. I opened up the case. Their is a little black box with a red button that must be depressed. Pulling up on the trigger pushes the button. Their is what i call a counter press above the trigger. By pressing it, it makes room for the trigger to slide up and press the red button. There isn't much you can do improve this process. But i took the two springs off the trigger and depressed them trying to shorten them thus reducing the force needed to press. The counter press in spring load. I carefully stretch it by pulling on the end directly above the trigger(not against the frame). This took some pressure off the counter press. I finally took a small file and carefully filed down the edge of the counter press where the trigger presses against. This makes it slide upward easier even if the counter press isn't pressed down fully when you squeeze it. The trick is pressing the counter press first, but doing these things has made my trigger a lot smoother. It use to be a hard press to activate, but now it is 10 times better than it use to be. Good Luck!!

Contiually sparking on all burners

Ignitor trigger button/knob pushdown may be jammed, remove power and remove the knobs, spray with a small amount of WD-40 or penetrating lubricant, try to actuate the trigger by pressing it down and releasing, replace knobs if you need to, apply power and see if your issue is solved, if this doesn't solve it, you may need to have it looked at by an appliance electrician.

My hitachi nail gun just fire one time and the piston stay out

This is most likely caused by the band (or o-rings) on the outside of the cylinder. It could be a trigger valve problem, but the fact that it doesn't come out until the trigger is pressed points to the cylinder rings.

DOESN'T FEED,IT MIGHT MISS SHOOT A TIME OR TWO THEN GET A NAIL THEN NOT FEED.I'M SHOOTING A 1.5"TECO NAIL. ANOTHER GUN DOESN'T SHOOT EVERY TIME LIKE THE DEPRESSOR ISN'T LETTING THE...

Usually miss feed happens when the driver does not return to top position not allowing the nails to feed into position. Easy to check, point nose of nailer up then down again to see if the driver is loose in the cylinder. If loose, the driver will be in the down position when the side door is opened. If driver is down, replace driver oring. If driver oring is good, look for spring tension on feeder and check feeder spring on the door side. If piston oring good and feeders have good spring tension, suspect lower bumper cracked(remove head and piston to check bumper).
On gun with depressor (safty foot) not actuating trigger, look for worn trigger (trigger inner lever could be worn) or loose or worn firing pin in the trigger valve above the trigger(valve # tva6). Replace as needed. To check for proper gun action, remove the nails, remove the 3mm roll pin holding trigger and dry fire the gun by depressing the tigger pin. Good luck

My garmin shows a computer picture and doesn't switch on anymore!

Connect it with the USB cable to a PC / Mac - does it communicate with Mygarmin.com? If so look for a software update and load it. Make absolutely sure it's connected to external power - so the battery won't die when updating. Then wait for it to restart.

If no connection then hold the power button for more than 20 seconds - this triggers the auto reset.

If that doesn't help - let it sit like this till the battery has been drained. Then try to restart while charging it.

If still the same - let it drain again and while pressing the On button, hold the lower right corner of the screen for at least 20 seconds. This will trigger a master reset - reverting back to factory mode. It will erase all user data.

Troy-bilt presswasher that is running fine but has no pressure from the unit and any water that is flowing thru is very hot when the engine is running.

Hello,

Your machine is air locked. Air in the supply line reaches the pump and the pump cavitates, allowing very little water to get by. Since the pump is just chewing air, it is getting very hot, producing the result that you see.
With the engine off, turn on the supply water and allow it to flow through your washer. You may need to lock the trigger on the wand in the open position, or hold the trigger down while purging the supply line. Make sure that there are no kinks in the supply hose and that any loops in the hose are straightened out. Raise the hose above your waist and walk it the length of the hose to the washer, forcing any air pockets through the hose and through the machine. This entire process will take about 5 minutes or so.
Release the trigger, start the machine and get to work. If the machine doesn't put up enough full pressure when you crank it, try cranking it while holding the trigger open. Sometimes the overpressure valve sticks, and can prevent full pressure from being reached. Holding the trigger open bypasses this issue, but doesn't repair it.

Best regards, W/D--

How do you know if the trigger is bad? getting dc volts to trigger but nothing out when I press it.

It's not unusual for Dewalt triggers to go bad and it appears you have correctly tested the trigger. You can test the motor by wiring it directly to the battery but hold on to it and only give it a short burst of power so it doesn't spin out of the case. Dewalt triggers are fairly easy to find online but shop around, they're not cheap.

Hi k2 series have alot of trouble does not always start on full pressure pull the trigger it just squirts a stright line of water out of the gun takes a while to get on full pressure if at all. many thanks...

HI This is caused either by a partially blocked nozzle on the end of your lance or the unloader valve sticking inside the machine. You can clean your nozzle by inserting a pin etc inside the end to clean it out. If this doesn,t work then it is most likely the unloader sticking. You need to remove the yellow cover and remove the unloader valve assembly. This is the bit that goes in and out when pressing the trigger. Remove this section then grease and oil the unloader and re fit. This should cure your problem.
