When switch on with a sim card the phone says contact service provider. my phone says contact service providers

I accidentally push my sim code and it appears to be a PUK


PUK stands for Personal Unblocking Key. This is a uniqueeight-digit code specific to your SIM card. This is required when the PINnumber to unlock your mobile phone is entered incorrectly 3 times. You are thengiven 10 attempts to enter your PUK code. If an incorrect PUK code is enteredafter the 10th attempt, you will block your SIM card permanently and willrequire a new SIM card from your mobile phone provider.
PUK codes can be obtained through the following ways - The PUK code is in your SIM card documentation Starter Pack.If you do not have this then -Please contact your phone service provider.
Your cell phone service provider can give you the PUK code once you give themyour account details and they have confirmed your identity.

If the cell phone service provider's network is not displayed, then the SIM card may not be making proper electrical contact in the phone. Remove the SIM card from the phone and clean the SIM card contacts with methylated spirits and the SIM card contact on the phone. Replace the SIM card and switch on your phone.

Hi there, i suggest you please contact your service provider for the PUK CODE. PUK code is protect your sim card. For more details please read the below topic. Its much clear to you.
1. My phone is requesting a PIN/PIN2/PUK/PUK2 code.
Your phone is equipped with one or more codes to protect it against unauthorised use. The PIN and PUK codes actually protect the SIM card, a small card inside your phone that establishes the network connection.
In most cases, your operator or service provider is the best source of assistance with PIN and PUK codes.
  • The most common code is the PIN (Personal Identification Number) code, which you set yourself and can activate and inactivate by following the instructions in your user guide.
  • The PIN2 code is a PIN code which acts as a second layer of protection for certain features of your phone. It functions in the same way as the PIN code, and more information is available in your user guide.
  • If the PIN code is entered incorrectly multiple times, your phone may request a PUK (Personal Unblocking Key) code. The PUK code is an 8-digit code provided by your operator or service provider.

Puk code for a samsungc300


hi if your phone is asking for puk code when you switch it on then this code is relating to the lock on the sim card and the only way of getting the puk code is by contacting your service provider they will then give you this code for free over the phone.
write is down in case you need it in the future, how ever the code they give you only works with that sim card in your phone.

If you get the code wrong 5 times then the sim card will be useless and locked, so contact your service provider and ask them for the puk code they give you this for free.

The puk code is written on the pack the sim card came with so if you still have the card and the pack that came with that sim card then the puk code will be written somewhere on the card or in the pack that came with the sim card.

Pin locked


PUK code, (personal unlocking key).

This is SIM card related / specific. If you take the SIM card out of the phone, the phone will work with another sim card.


The puk comes up when the pin code has been entered wrong 3 times. To get the puk code for your sim card, you have to call the service provider of that sim card. They are the only ones who can provide you with the right puk code for that sim card.


The puk code may also have came with the documentation of the sim card, if its a prepaid card the Puk code comes on the documents or on the box of the product.


if your unable to obtain the puk code, get a new SIM card.


Also entering the PUK code wrong too many times will eventually ruin the sim card forcing you to buy or contact your service provider for a new sim card.


There are no puk code calculators or anything that we can do about it, you can buy premium assistance and you will get this same response. There is no other solution.


You have to contact the phone service provider of that sim card or replace the SIM card.
