How to connect micro soft wireless mobile mouse 3000?

You must have received drivers CD in the mouse package, you will need to install it.

Normally your system must recognize your mouse if you have connected its infrared device properly to your system.

My notebook frequently shows no activity. Most of the time the activity returns on its own and some times i have to press the pad and keep it pressed for some times for note book to work.is it mother board...

Try plugging an external mouse. Try going to safe mode. If still does not work boot from an OS disc, if you can move the mouse in the installation process, eityher you can run a checkdisc on OS CD command prompt or just reinstall windows right away.

Wireless mouse

A wireless mouse consists of a mouse and a receiver. The receiver plugs into a USB port and should immediately work. To use the special features of the mouse such as the additional buttons you must install the driver software. Sometimes you will have to press the sync button on the receiver to communicate with the mouse. You should have a receiver that plugs into your usb or your ps/2 mouse port and then your wireless mouse connects via infrared to the receiver. Plug it in and hit the sync buttons. It's wireless so it most likely has a USB receiver, just plug that into the USB slot (it's about 1/2 an inch wide) on the back or side, and then depending on the mouse it might have a connect button or a reset. If it came with a disk you should insert that first.
