You don't set the player for
codes. Its codes are not user changeable. What you do is set the universal remote for the
code in its code list that is for your player.
remotebrands (sometimes even models) use different code
libraries, so you need to use the code list specific to that universal remote.
It should come with one in a boolket, and good universal remote manufacturers

Hi, Try this 1. Disconnect your player from its main power source for 30seconds
2.Reconnect your player to its power source
3.Press the power on button on your remote control
4.Press the Enter button on your remote control
5.Press 8,4,2,6 and 9
6.Press Enter on remote control and the your player will place itself on standby mode
7.press the power on button on remote control.

ok im not for sure about this. if you have changed it before a couple of times you cant do it again. they only give it a limit. of not then you just cant take your other dvds and play it sorry i wish i could tell you how to fix it but you cant. maybe if there is a battery that saves your info i guess you could take it out and then put it back in. idk. hope this helps!
