different systems work in werid ways if you cant get it to work by remote make sure its plugged up (right/well) and retry you may have a faulty jack on ipod or the system
Two options.
1. To play AND control your iPod from this system, you need to purchase a separate cable. Model is CD-I200 and it plugs into the back of the unit and the other end plugs into the dock connector of your iPod. (Assuming your iPod has a dock connector)
2. To play your iPod only through the system use the AUX1 mini stereo connector. Unfourtunately the AUX1 input is located on the rear of the unit. You need a separate cable with a mini plug on both ends. (Will look like a headphone plug on both ends). You will probably have to pull out the system to be able to plug in the cable unless you are lucky and you have tons of room under your dash to be able to reach the rear of the unit. Make sure you get a cable that is long enough to reach from under your dash to where you want to keep your iPod in reach.
