Question about Samsung RS2630SH Side by Side Refrigerator
Since new the icemaker only produces shattered ice, production is very slow, two or three ejects today. The icemaker was replaced once under warranty. New problem today, this morning the container was full of frozen water and the cube tray was iced over. I removed the icemaker, deiced and reinstalled it. It is back to its slow production of cracked chunks and chips, almost like when you put it on crushed.
Had the same problem. This allows 12 seconds for the tray to fill. If your water filter is the least bit dirty or the water supply line is clogged a bit, you will get an incomplete fill and the cubes will be hollow, mishapen, or, in my case, all won't eject properly. Replace your filter. If that doesn't do it then use a shop vac with any kind of modification to it that will fit into the supply line and **** out the blockages. Hope this helps.
