Question about Nintendo DS Lite Console
This unfortunately is a common problem for the DS. There can be a couple of causes to it. The first cause is a loose wi-fi module within the console itself, relatively easy to sort out. You can check my tip out on how to take apart a DS and then when the motherboard is exposed just make sure the wi-fi module is seated properly. It is located here -
The other problem could be as simple as the battery not making good contact with the terminals. Remove the battery and make sure that the pins that the battery connects to are not bent and make good contact.
The third most severe problem is that there is a problem with the motherboard. This unfortunately is terminal and the only way to solve it is to buy a new DS motherboard, usually available for around £40 on ebay. Hopefully the previous things will fix it.
Hope this helps and thank you for using FixYa
