Its broken then! You should never force dry electronics or try and switch on before completely dry. Next time ( if there is! ) dry as best you can with towel / shaking water out of it , leave for a couple of days then place in a bag with some dried rice and leave for a week, if rice gets damp then change rice ( rice will draw out moisture) If it going to work that's your best chance, never be too impatient !

Can you fix a nintendo ds with water damage??

try to dry the whole ds out, maybe with a hair dryer so all the water clears from the ds. If this does still not work, there will be a problem with the battery and i recommend you to take it to a shop to get fixed. If you still dont have any luck im very sorry but youll have to buy another nintendo ds.

We think a neighbor girl spilled liquid on/in my son's DS Lite. It now won't power on and the orange light will stay on for only a minute or two when we attempt to charge the unit. The battery is good......

If the DS was turned on when the liquid was spilled on it I don't think there is much hope to be honest:(

If it's under warrenty send it back otherwise you might try taking it apart and use a hair dryer to dry it off... that's a long shot though!

DS lite left in washer

Take the battery out right away and let it air dry in a window or under a light. dont use a fan or hair dryer. let it sit for about 2 maybe 3 weeks and put the battery back in it and it may work. you dont want the battery in it while there could be some kind of water in there still becuase it could cause a short on the mother board.
