Question about Samsung HT-BD2R 7.1 Channel Blu-ray Home Theatre System Theater System

Open Question

My samsung HT-TX500 does not make any sound anymore. My suspicion is subwoofer is not working because the main player unit seems ok. But I can't even get the test tone produced now. Any idea? The subwoofer got power button and I used to hear the "oomp" sound when I turned it on. Now, I don't hear any sound at all.

Hi all. Where can i order/buy a 13 pin cable (system cable) connecting the dvd player to the subwoofer? Samsung ht tx500 home theatre system.

Look in the manual for replacement part numbers - then google-it to find one.
Otherwise, I did find an ebay listing. search for "samsung subwoofer 13-pin" - 1st listing...
It looks correct, but I certainly can't guarantee it will work.

Samsung HT TX500 won't play any dvd, just states that there is no dvd, or keeps attempting to load the disk (makes a loud whirring sound)

If the optical pickup(laser) cannot read the disk, it will in fact say no disk, as it doesn't see one there. For more information, or should you have more questions, please visit my website at audioserviceclinic.com. You may contact me directly through the website. Thank you.

Aiwa subwoofer TS-WM6 has unclean scratchy sound but pot is OK.. Sound is like when a radio station is not tuned in. Faulty capacitor??

Maybe it's the amplifier board itself causing damage, it might need to be repaired by a professional or the manufacturer that owns the product. If not, you can try to troubleshoot the unit to see what's wrong.

I have a Samsung HT-C550, is there a separate power switch or something for the Sub-woofer? It seems to not have a lot of power.

If it is making any sound at all then it is "on".

Check your subwoofer function and level with Test Tones (page 29) and Auto Sound Calibration (page 30) and don't expect too much from an 8-lb 6.5" subwoofer and a multichannel amp that only draws 75 watts of electricity. Maybe place the sub nearer to a corner.

Subwoofer output no sound...

Check to see if it is properly hooked up to the player, and if it is, then either the amplifier's LFE(Low Frequency Emitter/Subwoofer) channel has failed, or the CPU is not beginning to forward frequencies 200Hz and below to the subwoofer. At 200Hz, the subwoofer adds to the satellite speakers, an then at 110Hz and below, only the subwoofer is playing.

protection error message means that your unit's fan is not working

it is a feature to keep your unit from overheating

check if there is anything blocking the fan of your unit from rotation

SWA-4000 doesn't adquire signal of HT-TX500 Home Theather

I was having poor audio from the back speakers and didn't even know it; intermittently I'd hear them jump in volume, so myself being a little adventurous, decided to push the ID set button on the back, totally losing my ilnk... after digging and playing, I figured it out:
1.) Turn off the Head (main) Unit 2.) Power on the wireless receiver, being sure it is away from routers, other BT devices, etc. 3.) Push the "ID Set" button on the back of the wireless device and hold it until the lights on its front panel flash. 4.) Point the system's remote control at the Head Unit and punch in 0135.  Its light should turn from red to blue. 5.) Perform step 3 again. 6.) Power on the head unit.
Should link up.
Might be some redundancy there, but it works :)
Also I found that after a few cycles It seemed to work better (perhaps cycled to a better channel?)

Samsung Series 6 TV - cannot get TV to go through Home cinema speakes

Ok, the Audio can only be transfered to the HT if it is connected via something other than the HDMI, (the HDMI is just 1 way accept for the Anynet function (which is great with the 6 series. I have the LE52-A656))

The audio can be transfered via component cables but you will get the best out of your system using an optical cable. The main reason for optical is it ability to transfer 5.1. Only problem is the Samsung does not output 5.1!! bugger!! one you have connected it via the optical too. just set the HT to D-IN and you should be goo to go! :) There maybe something i have missed but Im at work at the mo but let me know how you get on :)
