When booting, try going to the Boot Menu by pressing F12 when you see the Toshiba logo so you can select your hard drive as your boot device. After doing so, if you still get an "Invalid System Disc" error, then your hard drive may be shot.

You need to have a working CD/DVD Installer of your OS like Windows Vista or Windows XP or the like.

Now, you need to start your laptop while the disc installer is in your CD/DVD Drive. Then it will automatically boot from the CD/DVD drive to start the installation. Just follow the on-screen procedures.

It may be that the boot files are corrupted. Perform repair using windows installation disc or else perform recovery to get windows running...

if you have the os try to reinstall it thats about all you can do with this old of a unit
