Hey If you have tried Using remote and side pannels Have you tried another TV to see if its the Cable? Also The clicking sound is normal its the TV's Power-source starting. The fan light I am not sure of but if it happens every-time it should be normal. If the screen gets warm Instantly (Hotish) Then you TV is dead D:
When the filter caps went bad, the power supply output will be AC and feeding the circuits which can damaged the parts on the board. Check to see if you have the 12 or 18v feeding the back light invereter board. There are surface mounted fuses on the inverter board also. Send me good pictures of the whole back where all the boards are and close up picture of the inverter board, may be I walk you through. email@example.com
if theres power its more likely your picture tube went out or blowed & will have to be replaced or repair. If there is there sound other than the power like static or normal sound. then it's definely the picture tube but if theres nothing but juice & its a newer model tv its a problem with the fan or lamp
