Hello i have accidently thrown away the 2 pronged lead that plugs from the dvd player into the wall ... It is a panasonic digital player

There's probably nothing special about the original power cord, so I'd go to Radio Shack and get it for $8

Or you may have an unused one from other device lying around the house.

I have a mitsubishi HC5000BL projector and it has an audio out put on it and they refer to it as a trigger it is and 1/8 inch headphone jack. but it wont work i went through all the settings and turn the...

The trigger has nothing to do with audio and is to activate another device with a 12v signal, for example the screen. If you run the trigger into an audio device you'll probably kill it.

There are NO audio capabilities in this unit.

Caution:

Do not use the signal output from the TRIGGER terminal as a power for other devices.

Do not link the TRIGGER terminal with an audio terminal of other device because that device may

be damaged.

The rated current for the TRIGGER terminal is 200 mA. If you use a current exceeding this rating,

a failure may occur.

For information about electric screens, please contact screen manufacturers.

On switching my technics sa-dx750 it says switching off overload

The question is what is causing the overload? The power supply or the output devices on the heat sink?
If you have accidently shorted a speaker wire, then the answer will be output devices, otherwise it could be anything in the power section. You may find a burnt or damged device with either of the causes.

It only plays sound in pure direct mode

Check if the Jumper at the back is in place its between the Pre out and the mains. I found this out by accident when I was fixing the Selector, I took all the Screws at the back and also removed the the Jumper. After fixing the selector I put back all the screws with out the jumpers, When I was done i Tested it, it only plays in Direct mode. When I put back the two jumpers it worked again.

Xp audio problem. my volume icon wont show at all on the tray if if i set it to not hide. tried system restore but nothing. on-board sound is enabled even in the bios. tried reisntalling appropriate...

Try really uninstalling the audio device first, then reboot and install. Sometimes a driver reinstall or update fails if you don't uninstall it.

Are you certain that you have the right drivers?
