Since there's is not instruction manual available for this model, it would be difficult for you to find the exact step by step instructions. But you still have options. One of my client got the instructions from a Bassettbaby support through phone (it's clear that they never give out the instructions online). This is what they say about the replacement of the drawer or other hardware
"Most of Bassett's drawer pulls and decorative hardware are custom made. You may contact Bassett Customer Service and we will attempt to provide a replacement for you.
You may contact us at 1.800.308.7485 or by email at juvenile@bassettfurniture.com."

and another
"If you need assembly instructions for products please have model and manufacturing date available. This will help us provide you with the correct instructions."

You can contact them using the online "Contact us" form (click here) or through email (juvenile@bassettfurniture.com), but it is highly recommend to contact through Phone "1-800-308-7485"

Sorry that I can't give you the instructions, but I do hope that these information will help you somehow.

If you need further help, let me know.

Good luck.

Thanks for using FixYa.

I have a bassett baby bed number 5015-1508 made in april 1989 I need the brackets that hold the springs up

All drop down cribs have been recalled and are NOT safe to use around children! A bed this old should be discarded and replaced with a new certified model.

I have a bassett baby bed with no instructions, which way does the rail sit? Bed was manufactured in 1991. There is one keyhole slot on each side of the rail, does keyhole go in the top or in the bottom...

Just as I thought the keyhole slot went in the top screw hole for that section; noting the purpose of the keyhole slot is to put it on the screw and slide it down. I finally got the bed together, might I add without instructions, and it works great.

Unique Oak Treasures Crib - Full Bed Bassett Model 5542-0521

We have this crib as well. We bought it from Babys R' Us in 2005.
We also purchased the rails to convert it to a full sized bed. It did not come with instructions but I can explain to you how to put it together.

The rail conversion set should come with 2 pieces of wood that act as the bed frame. You do not need to purchase the extended frame. The set should also come with 4 long screws, the hex tool to tighten it and 4 metal pieces. You might also have some wood nail cover plugs.

Once you've taken apart your crib, the only pieces that you will need are the 2 longer pieces of the crib...the headboard and the footboard. The 2 shorter side pieces which served as a headboard and footboard as a crib and the metal grate to hold up the mattress can be put into storage.

On the sides of each of the new wood rails, you will see a circle indent on each end with a hole. You will insert one of the long screws into each and then insert it into the head board. You must use the special tool to screw/ tighten it in. The metal flat pieces can be inserted into it the circle befor eyou are done tightning so that it does not strip or damage the end of the circle. You do this with the other rail on the other end and then add the footboard using the same process. If you would like, I can send you a copy of what this looks like close up. ( the cricle indent with screws. The bed is extremely strong. We've all napt in it as a family along with our 2 large dogs. I highly recommend ordering the extra long/ tall bed rails from OneStepAhead for security because my son has rolled out of the bed and it is super tall!

HOW DO I ACTUALLY CONVERT A 3 in 1 CRIB TO A BED?

I have two children and I changed their beds from the cribs to the day beds by taking the front or footboard part off.  You have to save this part because in order to change it from the day bed to a full bed, you have to buy a siderail kit, take the sides off, and attach the siderails to the headboard and footboard.  Hope this helps!
