Try this :
1. Open Start Menu >> Run, type regedit and press Enter, this will open the registry editor.
2. Navigate to the following path:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\StorageDevicePolicies

Note: If the registry key StorageDevicePolicies key does not exist, you will need to create it
Download this batch file called add.bat from here, and double click after download the key will be automatically added to registry.

If you were trying to put it on a memory card... Some memory cards have a little switch on them. Take it out, position the switch differently and try again. I hope it'll help. Thank you

My Kodak V803 digital camera tells me memory card is protected. (Restart switch on memory card) i have tried to switch the camera of and on and remove the memory card but, the problem still exist. Please...

Look at the memory card itself. SD cards have a slide switch along one edge. The position farthest from the contacts locks the card, protecting it from writes. The position nearest the contacts unlocks the card. If the switch is already in the proper position, slide it fully the other way and then back again.

I have a 2gb micro sd card and I won't allow me to put music on it it tell me that it's write protected

Most SD memory cards have a little slide switch on the side of the card. This slide switch is a write protect switch, slide the switch to the read/write position.

Write Protection

there is a lock feature on the card and see if you can move it the other direction if so try it then. that lock keeps from putting anything on card and taking anything off. If that does not work try to format it in the laptop first.

Write protection

There is a small switch on the card. The Sandisk site has a photo of a larger card, smaller cards like the microSD must be inserted into the standard SD adapter.

Cannot Sync music files

okay... :)

1. the PC needs a CD-ROM with the cell phone's drivers to help interface the sync process.

2. you could transfer the files via bluetooth if both cell phone and computer have bluetooth components built in them.

3. if the PC tells you the memory card is write protected, look for a tiny little lock/unlock switch in the edge of the card to undo the "protect".

Hope this helps...
