First, ensure that your balance is set to the middle.
If so, try swapping the left and right speakers. i.e. connect the bad speaker to the cable you know is working. - If bad speaker now plays then your speaker is ok, but you have a new problem. Please let me know either way.

Hope this helps, Benji

Radio keeps scanning wont stop

On the steering wheel is the hand controls. Scanning is stuck because of dirt or something. Push the buttons, blow out dirt, wash it off. Mine worked fine after that. (How annoying up til then though. Hope this works. Russ Werth Bowman ND

I have a 2007 trailblazer. The rear speakers didn't work and some of the head unit lights didn't work. I replaced the headed unit and that didn't fix it. I then replaced both speakers and one...

Put new wireing in going to both back speakers, Factory wireing is verry thin end it breaks with age. Change it over to at least 16 guage speaker wire or 12 guage, Your system will sound a lot better.

I have a 93 Nissan maxima i don't know what it is

Yeah, I think i know what you mean. your car is messing up and you have no clue what is causing it and some dude told you something a bout a wire....I got that part.. However, there are all kinds of sensors, and I haven't got a clue which sensor the dude was refering to when he told you that. My recommendation is to take the car to a professional auto repair technician so it can be properly diagnosed and repaired so you do not have this problem any more.

Headphone jack not functioning properly

This is the normal way for this laptop ..leave it always with the headphones on selected in that list ..cause if the main speakers don't work well there is no point in using them ..This way you will run whatever yo will plug in ..speakers or headphones..The only setting difference in headphones and stereo out ..is that for headphones will but the speakers of the laptop when plugged in ..This way it will even help you if the speakers are making weird noises cause they are damaged ..

The sound isnt working on my radio the radio works but no sound and ive redone the wires and still wont work what do i do

Check the basics first, you do have the volume up. You don't have the mute function on. If you checked these and still have a problem, then I need to know something else. Did you use a wiring harness to hook up the radio. If you didn't, you need to undo all the work you did, purchase the harness, and put it in that way. You probably don't have the right wires hooked up which could fry your entire electrical system. However, if you did use a harness, then you might need to look at the speakers. Hope this helps.

Bose free space 51 speaker pair. 1 speaker stopped working. I disconnected non working speaker and hooked up at the working speaker wire and it still didn't work. don't know how to take it apart to...

In my case the speaker only played the higher frequencies but not the low mid range to base. Most likely your speaker is "blown". Outdoor use is hard on electrical components. The fix is easy. The free space 51 speaker is identical in size to the standard Bose 901 4 1/2" speaker. You can buy a Bose or a good quality knock off (either way they will need to be broken in before yielding the best sound). It is not clear to me whether the original Bose uses a special moisture resistant cone. I treated my replacement with a light coating of silicone spray (for upholstery) carefully protecting the foam surround and cap at the center.

Just unscrew the three screws holding in the plastic grill in front of the speaker (using a nut driver or socket wrench). The speaker will drop out. Be careful with the foam wrap around the wire as it tends to be fragile and greasy. Solder in the new speaker making sure you get the polarity right (although for outside use this is probably irrelevant). I would test the speaker in place before soldering just to make sure. Reassemble and break in the speaker. Again I don\'t know know well the replacement will weather the elements. Keep your finger crossed.

Front and back speakers quit working but my subs still work. Is this a fuse problem?

Don't know, but I doubt each different speaker would be fused

Something NO ONE seems to understand IS

Look at an actual fuse
They are no more than a piece of wire
They don't do anything

They just sit there and wait for high current
flow, that causes them to get hot & melt, thus
breaking or opening the circuit they protect.

If a fuse ever opens or blows you DO NOT replace it

You find out why it blew, you have problems down steam
in the wiring.

Why does my 1990 suburban keep randomly blowing the ecm b fuse has gone months with out a problem then is drivible again then will blow fuses again. Seems to come and go on its own

Scroll up and LISTEN to the guy talking about a SHORT. That's what it is. Take off the air cleaner assembly. Lift all the wires up and off the engine, pull the big wire loom a half inch out of the hole it disappears in going through the firewall. Keep doing this until the fuse stops blowing. Took me ten seconds. I still don;t know which wire it is, but I am buying some rubber fuel line and/or wiring loom protector to insulate everything off the valve covers, etc. Be sure to pick up extra 15 amp fuses in case it happens again, and be ready to tell anyone who drives the thing what to do.

Case: 1990 GMC 1500 SLE Suburban. Ran just fine, then the ignition shut off when I hit a random bump or pothole. Cost me a $750 tow before I got on here and did the wiggle test. The fuse stopped blowing. I will update if my fuel line/insulation idea didn't work, but I think it will. I will also tape every exposed wire with electricians tape. . .
