Just realized I was having this problem over the last day or two, though it may have been going on for longer. My problem is that the alarm clock function on my v3m seems to have gone bad. I go into the alarm clock screen and set the alarms, but when it's time for the alarm to go off, the phone doesn't ring. The "Alarm" screen pops up but that's about it. If I set an alarm and go back into the alarm clock screen, the alarm that I just set seems to have been cleared. The icon still shows up on the main screen like it would when an alarm is set. The phone still rings when I get a call, the keypad beeps like normal, the only thing that doesn't make a sound is the alarm clock.

There could be a number of reasons for this happening. Does the clock run only on batteries or batteries and electricity? It could be the age of the clock. The way the clock has been taken care of and the type of environment it is in for example too much dust. If the clock runs on batteries, have the batteries ever leaked and been left in the clock? Take very fine sandpaper and very gently sand the contacts of the clock where the batteries go, dust with a small dry paintbrush and use good quality batteries.
You'll need to unlock it so it can work with Verizon, http://www.ehow.com/how_6680478_unlock-razr-v3m.html gives you step by step instructions on how to unlock the phone. If the carrier won't give you an unlock code there are websites you can buy unlock codes from. Hope this helps.
try all the defaults the last four digits of the phone number last programmed to the phone then standards defaults for all phones are 9999,1234,4321,0000,1111 if none are successful you will have to hook the phone to a charging station which is at the verizon wireless store I do believe they still have the software if they dont they will need to replace the phone either by upgrade to a verizon phone (two year contract) or activating an old phone you own or bought online elsewhere or got from a friend etc. or insuarnce claim which is fifty bucks and they give you the same model i have to say of all the razors thats the good one so if you do go with insuarnace i wouldnt accept anything else they might throw at you as comparible its not
Yeah, I had that problem too. I thought my phone was broken. -_- My old phone from Verizon is like 4 years old and I JUST got my enV3. On my old phone, I'd have to set the alarm's ringtone to "no ring." But, on my enV3, "no ring" literally means NO ring, no vibration, no notification, no nothing. On the enV3, in order to set your alarm clock to vibration mode, all you have to do is make sure you "master volume" is in vibration mode, but you have to set your alarm's ringtone to something other than "no ring."
is your audio or mp3's sounds normal? if not you have to bring it to the center and clean the connections or replace u'r buzzer., and if u'r audio's working fine and only the alarms are not, try to do this, go to menu, settings, initial set up,master clear ,code ( 000000 ) then w8 and fones boot, then go again to menu, settings, initial set up, master clear code ( 000000 ) fone boots.,, and now try to do u'r thing's ,.. let me know
