Uncut grass in center & higher grass cut on right.

Hi, this may sound obvious but make sure the new blade is the same type as the old one and make sure it is not fitted upside down. Spin the blades and make sure the tips are level with each other, this will tell you if the deck is straight where the blade spindles mount. Regards Phil.

I need directions on how to change the baldes on a reciprocating saw.

There are 2 types of clamps that hold the blade in that type of saw.

Since this one most likely has the type where the blade is held in place with a set screw and a "U" shaped piece of metal that holds the blade tight against the shaft. There should be a screw hole in the shaft of the saw. The blade rest next to the shaft and then the metal piece clamps the blade against the shaft. This is all held in place by a set screw that screws into the shaft. This screw uses a hex key to remove and tighten it.

If your tool doesn't have this style then it should have a twisting clamp. This will rotate and release the blade. Sometimes a pliers is needed to loosen the collar, but not to tight tho.

I tried to remove the blade with the method as described by Gavin, but I wasn't able to turn the blade by 90 degrees, so I'm not able to remove the old blade. What can I do now?

I don't know what type of saw you have or what Gavin suggested, but there are basically 2 types of locking mechanisms used by Bosch. One requires a long thi screwdriver and the other is a handle that you need to pull up on and loosen the clamp to remove/install blade. After loosening the clamp you might need to push up on the blade to rotate and remove. sometimes I have seen on this type there is a spring under the handle mechanism that breaks sometimes jamming the ability to release the blades. Let me know the exact model and type number and I will look at a breakdown and see what other ideas I can come up with.

What type fuse for THUMP! T1006 car amplifier

  1. Fuse Type - There are three main types of fuses used in car audio. The most common is the barrel (cylindrical) fuse which may be an AGC or AGU type. The second most common is the blade fuse which is the type most often found in your vehicle's fuse box. Large blade fuses are used in some fuse holders and may be referred to as a MAXI fuse. The least common type of fuse is the ANL or "wafer" fuse. These are used in the larger fuse holders when high current handling is required. Typically 100 amps and higher. The type you use will depend on the current capacity needed and your own preference. For draws of less than 100 amps expect to use a barrel fuse. For currents larger than that you'll probably be looking at the more expensive wafer fuse.

Need to change a turn signal & back brake

PLEASE DON'T FORGET TO RATE!!!

Rear Turn Signal, Brake, & Marker Lights
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Open the trunk.
  3. Unfasten the nuts or other retainers from the rear trim.
  4. Unfasten or release the housing cover retainers.
  5. On some vehicles, you may have to remove the rear fascia/body panel and light assembly to get to the sockets.

On some vehicles, such as this 1986 Grand Am, you must remove the rear body panel with the lamp

Depending upon vehicle application, remove the lamp socket either by rotating it counterclockwise (approximately 1/4 turn) until the plastic tabs disengage, or by squeezing the metal tangs while pulling the socket from the light assembly

Remove the lamp socket assembly by turning it counterclockwise, then pulling it out

Generally, side marker lamps use small bulbs with flat, blade-type bases, and tail lights/turn signals use larger, round-based ("bayonet") bulbs.
  1. Remove the bulb from the socket using the appropriate method. Bulbs with blade-type bases pull straight out, while those with round bases and protruding pins (bayonet-type bulbs) must be depressed, then rotated counterclockwise (approximately 1/8 turn) before pulling out.

Remove the side marker bulb from its socket by pulling straight out

To install:
  1. Secure the bulb in the socket using the appropriate method. Bulbs with blade-type bases push straight in, while those with round bases and protruding pins (bayonet-type bulbs) must be inserted, then depressed and rotated clockwise (approximately 1/8 turn).
  2. Install the lamp socket using the appropriate method. Depending on the type of socket, either engage the plastic tabs, and rotate the socket clockwise (approximately 1/4 turn), or push on the socket until the metal tangs engage.
  3. Install the housing cover nuts.
  4. If removed, install the rear fascia and light assembly.
  5. Install the rear trim.
  6. Connect the negative battery cable, then check the operation of the rear lights.

How to change the saw blade

Adjustments
LARGEHEXWRENCH
TO REPLACeTHE BLADE
See Figures 43 - 45.
 Unplug the saw.
 Lower the saw blade, raise the blade guard, and remove the throat plate.
 Make sure the bevel locking lever is securely pushed to the left. Raise the saw blade to its full height by turning the height/bevel adjusting handwheel clockwise.
 Using the smaller hex wrench, insert the flat open end into the flats on the arbor shaft.
 Insert the closed end of the larger hex wrench over the hex nut. Holding both wrenches firmly, pull the larger wrench forward to the front of the machine. Make sure the blade nut is securely tightened. Do not overtighten.
Check all clearances for free blade rotation. See To Set the Scale to the Blade. In cutting operations, the scale will be set to the side of the blade where the cut will be measured and made.
To replace the blade with an accessory blade, follow the instructions provided with the accessory.
To install a standard blade:
 Place the new blade on the arbor shaft (the teeth must point down toward the front of the saw to work properly).
 Place the blade washer and the blade nut over the blade arbor. Be sure the dome side of the blade washer faces out from the blade and that all items are snug against the arbor housing. Tighten securely.
