Could be either a poor internet connection or just poor server response time from yahoo. Its probably struggling to load and just times out. This happens to me with just about any website from time to time. Try repairing your internet connection, or just waiting for another time (side note...Mozilla Firefox is the way to go)

I lost my emails since I upgraded from windoows xp to windows 7

Features available through Yahoo! Mail include unlimited storage, the ability to view photos and videos from your inbox and the ability to send 50 files or 100MB worth of attachments in a single email.

You can also access Yahoo!'s instant messaging software from your inbox and check email on your mobile phone and other Internet-enabled devices.

Before signing up for Yahoo! mail, check its compatibility with your version of Internet Explorer.Standard Yahoo! Mail

Yahoo! Mail's standard interface works with Internet Explorer 7 and higher. However, Internet Explorer 7 users may be unable to use the reply bar, slideshows or Yahoo! Messenger from their inbox.

To access these features, use at least Internet Explorer 9. All Internet Explorer users must have Windows 7, XP or Vista to use the standard form of Yahoo! mail. Mac operating systems using Internet Explorer are not supported by the current version of Yahoo! Mail.
Older Option

Users who want to use Yahoo! Mail Classic will find it compatible with Internet Explorer 6, as well as newer versions of the browser.

Yahoo! announced to customers in July 2011 that it would soon stop supporting Internet Explorer 6. Yahoo! Mail Classic works with Windows 2000, XP and Vista, as well as Windows 7.

Yahoo! Mail Classic lacks many of the upgrades found in the current version of the email program.

Upgrades
While Yahoo! Mail supports older versions of Internet Explorer, the company recommends that users upgrade to the most current version.

Yahoo! says using the newest browser software provides more speed and added protection against viruses and software.
Enabling ActiveX

If you plan to use the current version of Yahoo! Mail on a Windows machine, you'll want to enable your computer's ActiveX controls so you can access all the features of the email program.

To do this, go to the "Tools" menu or the gear symbol in Internet Explorer, then select "Internet Options" and "Security."

Click on "Internet," then "Custom Level."
Scroll down to "Run ActiveX Controls and Plugins" and "Script ActiveX Controls Marked Safe for Scripting." Enable each of these options and save your settings.

Reboot Internet Explorer.

Good Day Zoom66!

Mostly, inability to access certain buttons, pages freezing up and Yahoo crashing, is a sign of a weak internet browser. You need first to know what internet browser you are currently using. (Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Safari and Google Chrome are the most used internet browser)

Your internet browser is corrupted. And the best fix to solve your Yahoo mail problems is to upgrade your internet browser by installing a fresh and latest version.

Choose from the list below the most updated version of internet browser suited in your system.

Internet Explorer

Mozilla Firefox

Safari

Chrome

Download and please install in your system. Once you have installed it, run it and access Yahoo! mail. To access yahoo mail instantly,
go to https://login.yahoo.com/config/login_verify2?.intl=us&.src=ym

Zoom66, please add comments later if this will not solve your problem so I can give you further solution.
Please give a thumbs up rating and click the YES button below if this will help you.

The email address make possible communication only when the device is powered on and connected to a network.

Assume the device is functioning without defects
1.Sign on to the internet to observe a browser page like internet explorer, google or yahoo page for example should be displayed once on the internet.
2. using the typing area provided by the internet browser, type the email domain name; for example, yahoo mail or hotmail depending on the domain subscriber of your email account
3. At which point makes possible typing spaces prompting you to insert the email address to get logged logged onto a mail. storage area.

notes
1. the device should be functioning and powered on
2. the device must have a network connection
3. you have to sign on to the network making available a web browser like yahoo, or google or internet explorer
4. using the typting spaces provided, type the domain name of your email account; for example yahoo mail to arrive at the email display page before the options of logging into an ascount with the personal details can be made possible

My friend is logged into yahoo on my computer, and i want to log in, but everytime i click logout 2 sign her out...it says website not found and i dont understand why, becuase im clicking sign out right on...

Dear Friend, You can only be signed in to one Yahoo! account at any given time on the same web browser. But it is possible for multiple accounts to be signed in simultaneously on the same computer using different browsers (for example, Robert on Firefox; Lovin Winter on Internet Explorer).

  • You can Upgrade Your Browser to Latest Version(If using Internet Explorer)
  • You may also Use Firefox Click here
  • Open Both Browser same time and Sign in with Different Mail Address in a Computer

You have to change the Home Page. It depends on the browser you are using.

If you are using Internet Explorer: go to Tools- Internet Options and in the Home Page tab, type the Yahoo address.

If you are using Opera: Tools-Prefferences (or Ctrl+F12) and in the Home Page field type the Yahoo address.

If you are using Mozilla: Tools- Options and in the Home Page field, again type the Yahoo address.

And it is not necessary to have Yahoo set as home page. You can always type the address in the address tab. It is easier this way when you open a browser. You can set as home page the exact link for the sign up page: http://mail.yahoo.com

If you need further assistance, post a comment.

When I click on Yahoo Mail I get a Cant display

It sounds like you are using internet explorer. If this is correct, here are some
troubleshooting steps you can try:

First of all, Did you check to see if you are connected to the internet? If so, try refreshing your browser.

Option 2- Close your browser and then reopen it. Type in www.yahoomail.com and see if the sign in page shows up.

If none of these options work this may be a problem that you would have to contact micosoft about. The microsoft website has trouble shooting forums, live chat with a microsoft technician, email a technician, and there  is also most recent information related to popular issues with internet explorer, specifically to "internet explorer not displaying the webpage"

Another suggestion I have for you is that if you have another internet browser such as "Mozilla Firefox" Try accessing yahoo mail that way.

Hope this helps!

I cannot get Yahoo ! to load as my home page

What browser? Did you change it in the preferences (Internet Options control panel for Internet Explorer; in Firefox, Tools: Options).

If it's Internet Explorer giving you problems, please allow me to recommend trying Firefox. It's faster, it's safer and it's pretty friendly to use. It's also free.
