How to activite bluetooth in windows 7

  1. Add a Bluetooth adapter to your computer.

This is usually done by plugging the adapter into a USB port. (If a Bluetooth adapter is already built in or attached to your computer, ignore this step.)

  2. Set up the device so that your computer can find it.

    To do this, you must:

    • Turn the device on.

    • Make it discoverable.

To learn how to make a device discoverable, check the information that came with your device or go to the manufacturer's website.

  3. Install the device.

To install most devices, such as a mobile phone, keyboard, mouse, or personal digital assistant (PDA), you can use Bluetooth Devices in Control Panel. If you have Bluetooth wireless technology installed on your computer, follow these steps:
To install a Bluetooth enabled device

    1. Click the Start button , click Control Panel, click Hardware and Sound, and then click Bluetooth Devices.

    2. Click Add, and then follow the instructions.

I have a PD-210 Personal Digital Assistant. It's been years since I messed with it. I just put fresh batteries in and I can't figure out how to update the time & date......and I can't get it to link up...

It is very possible that the PDA has become obsolete through the lack of updates which are necessary to keep the unit operating along with todays operating systems.

I don't know what to choose. an e63 0r a samsung omnia pro b7320. Does the gps work in the samsung, and what about the battery, does it last that long. please help

Hello. I definitely recommend the Omnia Pro which is a full PDA phone. In my opinion the e63 is gimmicky. A PDA Short for personal digital assistant, a handheld device that combines computing, telephone/fax, Internet andnetworking features. A typical PDA can function as a cellular phone, fax sender, Web browser and personal organizer. Regards, Joe

I have a dell optiplex gx620 and it wont turn on all it does is the power button flashes orange.

As you can imagine, this is not simple thing to diagnose.
First, we need to try Dell's steps to fix...
Remove non-essential peripherals…
Except for the monitor, keyboard, and mouse, remove all external peripherals including:
  • Scanner
  • Printer
  • Modem or Network cables
  • Personal Digital Assistant (PDA)
  • USB flash drive or other external Hard Drive
  • Any other external devices (e.g., USB-attached devices)
  • Remove the computer from the docking station, if you are using one

Try rebooting. If that doesn’t work, Dell states you need to do the next step.
Remove and Reseat Basic Hardware items:
  1. Power Cord
  2. Memory
  3. Hard Drive
At this point, Dells says if that fails contact them.

If my hunch is correct, you may have something on the motherboard shorting a connection or you have a blown capacitor. Get some “canned air” and blow out the computer thoroughly. Some people have reported the same symptom having dust or other debris causing the issue, so give it a good blowing out,

At the same time, inspect your motherboard thoroughly for an anomalies. If you see anything resembling the picture below, you have a serious motherboard problem which will require replacement.

After a soft reset, my Palm TX becomes stuck on the "Palm Powered" screen. I have tried all of the resets, including the hard reset. The PDA does not respond to any of the resets. I can not turn the PDA...

You need to perform full reset which will erase all personal data and set everything to factory default. You need to press reset and power button to perform full reset. It will give you confirmation once you choose yes it will perform hard reset If issue persist you may disconnect and reconnect to internal battery

Sync calander with PCs and PDA

As you stated, sharing your Outlook Personal Folders file (.PST) is not supported by Microsoft.
However, there are other companies that make products that support sharing your PST.
Here is one:
http://www.officecalendar.com/slipstickshare.aspx

BTW: http://www.slipstick.com/index.htm is a great resource for finding Exchange/Outlook solutions.

Before experimenting I highly recommend that you close Outlook and make a copy of your .PST just in case you encounter problems.

I hope this helps.
