On that model fan the glass globe should unscrew to get to the bulbs if not they are replaced by going between the blades & the motor to the space in between.

My parking light went out, I changed it and it burned where the bulb was plugged in and a little around it. Just worried that its faulty wiring and my car catchig fire. What to do?

Dome light or running light?
The lights outside the car have almost no chance of creating a fire.
The scorching on the bulb socket is common with the newer wedge base bulbs. Sometimes the socket gets so bad that the the plastic crumbles and has to be replaced.

Will broken bulb set engine management light off

Most cars that sense burnt out / broken bulbs simply alert you to the problem, not cause bigger issues. Post this problem again but include the year, make and model of the car for the best chances of getting the help you're looking for.

2004 Honda Pilot, right rear brake light doesn`t work. I know it`s not the light bulb because it works for the turn signal and hazard lights.

Chances are that is the bulb. Its a dual filament bulb. The brake portion of it is burnt out. try swapping it with the left side and see if it works then. If it works, get a new bulb.

HALOGEN BULBS WILL BURN OUT IF YOUR HANDS TOUCH THEM WHILE INSTALLING THEM.BECAUSE OIL ON YOUR HAND WILL CAUSE BULBS OVERHEAT BLOW.A FAULTY ALTERNATOR WILL BLOW HEAD LIGHT BULBS IF IT OVERCHARGE PUT OUT MORE THAN 15 VOLTS.

1986 190D. Rear parking light (passenger side) does not light (it is NOT the bulb). What should I check? Keith.Markey@hotmail.com

Hi if the bulb is fine and the one the other side works then the chances are the bulb holder has corroded and you are nto getting a good connection between the bulb and the holder, what you need to do is remove the rear light completely and have a good look at the bulb holder connections and you will probably find that the holder has corroded and you then need to clean it with some glass/sand paper to remove the corrosion.

you need to remember that if it is corrosion then the chances are the seal around the light has gone so if you do find any corrosion your best option would be to replace the rear ligh as a whole to prevent this from happening in the future.

I have a light bulb that broke and I cant get it out, does it push in or screw in?

Chances are it is a boyonet base bulb. Unplug or turn off the power to the microwave. To remove the bulb, press in lightly, turn the base of the bulb counter-clockwise about 20 degrees till it stops, then it should pull straight out.

Chances are you have a bulb not grounded.May be a good idea to take out one of the malfunctioning bulbs and clean the terminals and replace the affected bulbs.Good Luck!

Which fuze works the right brake light

If the right brake light is the only one not working, the fuse is okay.
There are not seperate fuses for brake lights and work on a single brake circuit. Chances are the bulb is out. Check the bulb and replace as needed with the same type bulb. If it still is not working after the bulb is replaced, check the power and ground circuits with the correct testing equipment.
