Question about Optoma H30 Multimedia Projector
I am Anastasios from greece and I own a Themescene H57 dlp projector (Serial no. T81D444AAAAAA1148) which I bought secondhand with brand new lamp and I have the following problem: The projector after only 20 hrs on the lamp emits an horizontal purple tint in about 50% of the projected area which moves up and down periodically plus the picture gets bent and distorted especially on the left side(projector is ceiling mounted). On the backgroung the picture is detailed as ever and on startup before it locks to a source (i.e with no input signal)the projection appears normal. I haven't dropped it or exposed it to any extreme conditions. It started doing that for no apparent reason. I'm using component and s-video inputs. There is no unusual vibration when projector is on.The colourwheel on visual inspection is intact.Could be a fault with input board or the main motherboard? I'm suspecting the horrible flactuations on the household voltage of our national supplier is to blame which is only good for kettles and deep fryers and not delicate electronics. Can I do something at all to rectify the problem? If I need to have the boards replaced is there a service center in Greece help me?
I would greatly appreciate any technical input/thoughts /suggestions.Many thanks in advance
I'm afraid this is indeed a Mainboard problem that will require either repair or replacement.
