I have owned my computer since January tonight i finally found my key code and it does not work for microsoft office 2007 which I purchased from Dell

If yours is a ligitimate version, you can phone Microsoft with the approx purchase date and the name of the purchaser and they will issue you with a new key code. I have found them to be very helpful

You need to purchase your own genuine license key in order to properly use the MS Office Standard 2007. Asking for "free" passwords over the internet and using them would mean software piracy and that is illegal; it would eventually get you into trouble once Microsoft found out about your IP address.

The product key comes along with the purchase of your Disk. Check the CD case that came along with the MS office 2007. If you don't have one you will have to purchase from Microsoft Site.

It could be a trial of Office. If you purchased your own office, look to make sure there is not two versions of Office on the computer.
