Check for a frozen cooling coil. Turn the fan to the on position at the thermostat and the cooling to off. Your cooling coil may be iced over. Allow it to run in the fan only mode until the coil has had a chance to defrost. At the outside unit you may see the large line is frosted. This is the visual indication for a frozen coil. When you return the A/C to cooling use it with the fan on while in the cooling mode.

1 of 2 issues are causing your problem maybe both.
1st. not enough air passing over the inside coils. could be fan speed or dirty filters.
2nd. the refrigerant charge is low

The half of my house where the furnace is is hot. So there is hot air coming from the vents. (some of them). Half of the kitchen living room bathroom and 3 bedrooms and the hallway are blowing cold air.

where is the duct work located? In an attic, crawlspace? It sounds as if part of the system is disconnected. Are the outlets at the floor or in the ceiling? Is the duct work insulated? Can you take actual air temperatures at the outlets?

When I turn on my furnace it only blows hot air through some of the vents in my house.

This could be caused by a number of things. The first place to start is the duct work.

The vent covers in the rooms that are not receiving heat, may be closed.

The duct work to those rooms may be clogged.

The duct work to those rooms may have come apart at the joints/connections.from the main truck line. In which case, if your duct work runs through a crawl space or attic, you're wasting heat in those areas, which should not be heated.

If your duct has an automatic damper door, it may be closed to those areas not receiving heat.

And finally, the blower may have lost the velocity that it once had and can't push the heated air as far as it use too.

I'm betting on a problem with the duct work, though.

Hope this helps to get you started in solving the problem.

My a/c is blowing cold air, just not as hard as it used to. Don't know what to do. Don't what to waste money on a repair man if it something I,am just overlooking.

Besides your motor going out, somethings to check would be dirty/clogged air filters, dirty indoor coil, or dirty fan blades on the blower motor itself. The only other problem that would cause this would be a broken section of duct if you don't have slab ducts (concrete floor). Hope this helps!

Amana central heat and air unit use to blow cold air through all the vents. Now the 2 hardest blowing vents close to the air handler barely even blow out cool air while all the other vents still blow very...

Visually inspect the duct run connections to the main trunk. It is possible that they have loosened and are losing air under the house. Also inspect the duct runs from the trunk connection to the vent connection. You want to check for any damage or other failure. It is rare to find dampers in individual runs in residential duct systems; however, it is another possibility.

My coleman 3 ton heat pump blows very little air

Check the blower capacitor and blower speed, you probably have a 3 or 4 speed motor make sure it's on medium high or high speed.
If these are ok then shut the power off to the indoor unit and pull the blower housing out so you can see the blower wheel, make sure it's clean and very carefully spin the wheel to see if it spins freely keep hands away from wheel while it's spinning, if it doesn't then the bearings are bad and you need to replace the motor.
