Check for a frozen cooling coil. Turn the fan to the on position at the thermostat and the cooling to off. Your cooling coil may be iced over. Allow it to run in the fan only mode until the coil has had a chance to defrost. At the outside unit you may see the large line is frosted. This is the visual indication for a frozen coil. When you return the A/C to cooling use it with the fan on while in the cooling mode.

1 of 2 issues are causing your problem maybe both.
1st. not enough air passing over the inside coils. could be fan speed or dirty filters.
2nd. the refrigerant charge is low

I have a Kenmore dryer Model 1.10 60902990 that keeps tripping the thermal cut-off fuse (part #3398671 or substitution part #279769) after running for about 5 minutes. I have checked the high limit...

this will keep popping if the dryer is running to hot,if the cycling thermostat is bad the dryer can do this or something is blocking the air flow.if you have a long vent line most likely this is the problem, also you have to remove the metal duct that the lint filter slides down into and clean that out.if your vent line is long try running the dryer with the vent line removed from the back of the dryer, also when you remove the vent line stick a leaf blower into the vent line and blow it out to the outside, but like i say all a dryer does is move air and if the air doesn't move out of the dryer and it runs to hot the t-stat will blow as a safetygo here and check out the cycling thermostat http://www.repairclinic.com/PartDetail/Cycling-Thermostat/8318268/904589#repairHelpVideoTabs
and replace the 279769 and try running it with the vent line off the back of dryer, also when you take off the metal duct that the lint filter slides into spin the drum and make sure the blower wheel is spinning,if the blower wheel is bad and can't move air this can happen but usually something is in the vent line.let me know what you find, thanks

I have a programmable thermostat that I set to 68 at night. The system turns on and runs, but when I woke up this morning, the tempterature in my house was 58. I felt near a vent and it felt like it was...

Hello, sounds like the units high limit switch is opening and shutting down the burners. When this happens the blower motor and inducer motor will run nonstop....and this is why you probably just felt cool air blowing from the air duct. Usually a dirty filter, blower wheel or weak blower motor can cause the units limit switch to open.

My AC stopped blowing hot or cold air. i already replaced the blower motor and the commpressor.. what could it be now??

if the blower motor is workink the the air must be going somewhere so check the pipes and ducting to see if its all conected and the vents are opening also check the air intake on the fan to make sure its sucking air in and not blowing it out. on the off chance its blowing out swop the conections round.

My LG Tromm dryer is not drying. it turns & gets hot but the dampness is not blowing out of the dryer, it just makes them hot & wet

The most common problem for a dryer to take more than one cycle to dry is restricted air flow.

1.when the dryer is running go outside and find where the venting is located, there should be a good amount of air flow.
2. if the air flow is not good look at the ducting coming from the back of the dryer and make sure it is not kinked or pushed back to far.
there is usually lint build up some where along the ducting or at the end of the duct where it vents to the outside.
3. if you have access to a leaf blower, this can be used to help clear any lint build up inside the duct from the dryer to the outside venting.
move your dryer out and take the leaf blower tube and stick it in the hole and turn it on.
the vented louvers need to be removed from the ouside of the house to allow the lint and things in the duct work to be blown out.

My a/c is blowing cold air, just not as hard as it used to. Don't know what to do. Don't what to waste money on a repair man if it something I,am just overlooking.

Besides your motor going out, somethings to check would be dirty/clogged air filters, dirty indoor coil, or dirty fan blades on the blower motor itself. The only other problem that would cause this would be a broken section of duct if you don't have slab ducts (concrete floor). Hope this helps!

Dryer doesn't get hot

unplug dryer, take bottom panel off and take out the lint filter, remove the blower wheel duct and clean out the lint, while you have the cover off read out the thermal fuse located on top of the blower wheel housing, remove one of the wires when you read it out, if the air isn't moving outside it will pop the fuse.vac out the inside of dryer and if you have a shop vac switch it on blow and blow off all the lint off of the motor, you should do this once a year so you don't have a fire.if the fuse is good, read out the ignitor, sensor and gas coils.when you get it running go outside and make sure the air is blowing out strong,if it isn't you could have a blocked vent line,if it's a long run use a leaf blower to blow out the vent line.

Air condtioning unit

check capicitor on motor, fan motor bearings may be locking up when they get hot then when cooled the motor comes back on. Then you must replace fan motor.

Air conditioning fan makes loud noise the faster you ru it.

Concerning your broken vent -- this can be caused by a broken linkage or a malfunctioning servo motor as well. these vent have air ducts the sway back and forth to adjust the dual air flow function. if the servo o linkages are malfunctioning or not connected for some reason, it will not allow total control of the air flow and temperature range. Now, if you have a combination of a flow error and temperature error as well, thai can be caused by a combination of the two.

In this case, you will need to inspect the linkages as well as the servo motor function as well. in addition, i would test the air temp sensors for there operational value. they control the temp when you adjust the coll or hot function.

Concerning the Loud noise coming from the blower fan---

This issue can be caused by a misalignment within the blower housing or, it can also be caused by some minor damage within the motor itself, causing it to rotate in a erratic manner, in return, forcing it to rub against the housing itself. the best solution here is to extract this blower fan housing and inspect for lose fan propeller and motor stability. replace parts accordingly.

PLease rate and have a great day:)
