HELLO,

HERE ARE SOME SOLUTION BELOW
Machine Won't Agitate or Spin

  • Remove the pump and drive motor. You will find two plastic and one rubber motor couplings. One is located on the drive motor and the other is on the gear case with the rubber coupling between them.
  • 2 Pry or break the old couplings off with your screwdriver. Replace with new couplings. Simply push one onto the shaft of the gear case and press the second one onto the shaft of the drive motor.
  • 3 Line up the holes of the rubber isolation coupling with the studs in the coupling. Push the rubber isolation coupling in place.
  • 4 Push the isolation and coupling on the drive motor making sure that the holes line up with the studs on the other coupling on the gear case.
  • 5 Reinstall the drive motor and then snap the pump in place with the retainers to hold it in place. Reconnect the hoses with the clamps and snap the.Put the washer back on and screw the back in place. Position the washer where you had it before and plug the washer in

  • Washer Won't Drain If your Roper washing machine does not agitate, spin or drain, you have a problem that needs fixing. The average do-it-yourselfer can do this JOB without hiring the professional technician. Each problem indicates a separate repair, but while you have the washer apart, it never hurts to check things while the back is off and the parts are off the washer. EXERCISE caution and make sure that the washer is unplugged and the water is off before you begin.

  • Check the drain hose to see if anything is plugging it. Sometimes small pieces of material go out with the wash water and become lodged in the drain hose.
  • 2 Open the access panel in the back by removing the screws and taking off the back panel. Remove the drain hose. this is usually held on with a clamp, collar or clip.
  • 3 Use a pair of needle-nosed pliers to remove the obstruction. If the material is further into the hose, you can use a sturdy piece of wire with a small hook bent at the end. Stick this into the hose to try to pull the obstruction out. If you still can't reach the obstruction, disconnect the entire hose and force the obstruction out with a water hose using the jet spray.

  • Thanks.

How do i replace the agitator in my old heavy duty whirlpool washing machone?

    Hello.

The Whirlpool Ultimate Care II washing machine is atop-loading clothes washer. The washer has several cycles to choose from, including cycles for washing normal clothes, permanent press items, delicateand items marked "Hand Wash." To do its job, thewashing machine relies on an agitator, located in the center of the wash tub.The agitator rotates during the wash cycle, moving the clothes around the washtub so that they are cleaned equally. If the agitator is broken, it will notsufficiently agitate the clothes and must be replaced. ·1 Unplug the washing machine from the wall outlet or turn off the power supplyin your service panel. · 2 Open thewashing machine lid and remove any clothes remaining inside. · 3 Remove thefabric softener cup by squeezing the bottom lip of the cup and lifting itstraight off. · 4 Pry theagitator cap off of the top of the agitator with a flat-head screwdriver. · 5 Remove thebolt at the bottom of the agitator, using the socket wrench with extension, andthen remove the agitator from the washing machine. Tip the agitator to removethe bolt and washer. · 6 Install thenew agitator onto the drive shaft. · 7 Secure thenew agitator with the bolt that you originally removed. · 8 Press theagitator cap and fabric softener cup back into position on top of the newagitator. · 9 Restore powerto the washing machine to complete the repair.
    Thanks.

How do you remove the aggitater

1- First you must determine the brand of washing machine you have. 2- To remove agitator on a whirlpool washer, remove top cap from agitator, Next you will find a translucent cap, remove this with your pliers. Then you will see a 3/8 inch nut, Back this nut out and you can then remove the agitator. Be Careful though, inside the agitator where the bolt has been removed is a white piece of plastic that holds the "dog ears". These dog ears are what lets the agitator move in one direction and locks when the transmission moves back in the other direction.

  • Maytag and Admiral washers are very similar to remove. General Electric, (GE) is different, To remove a GE agitator simply pull upwards very hard, GE agitators snap on. Be careful not to pop it into your mouth, that really hurts. 3-Remove agitator, repair or replace and reset, GE just push on, you will be able to see the groves to line up the agitator to the hub. For whirlpool place bolt into dog ear guide, and set down on top of transmission post and tighten, be careful that dog ears, do not get out of alignment. That's it.

Washing machine agitator is loose and makes a lot of noise. Can't figure out how to remove the agitator

Remove top cap of agitator (it may need to be gently pryed up or simply popped off). Under the cap is a large nut which needs to be removed. With the nut removed simply pull the agitator up.
