Question about Kenmore HE2 Plus Front Load Washer

2 Answers

Getting an f-24 code, saw the solution page but it doesn't describe where the part is located or how to replace it. I am wondering if there is a way to reset the machine by unplugging or a reset button and it might temporarily fix the problem.

Hi, F24 error code a water temperature sensor error or enought hot water to the washer.
check to see you have both valves are turned on. Also, the water inlet valve on the washer has a screen and it is known to get clogged and restrict water flow. Turn off the hot water valve. Pull the hot water hose off where it attaches to the back of the washer.
Even if you are getting good hot water flow, inadequate water temperature can cause an F24 error code. Check the temperature setting on your hot water heater. It should be set at 120 F. You should reach this hot water temperature at your washer within about 1 minute.
If you are getting a good hot water flow, you may one of the following failures:
1 loose or dirty connection at the temperature sensor or control board.
2 The temperature sensor could be out of range. Bad or shorted sensor
3 Control board failure.

The temperature sensor should have a resistance reading of 6.6k ohms at 104 degrees F and should drop in Ohms as temperature rises,
The temperature sensor is located at the back lower section of the tub with 2 small black wires. It would require a ohm meter to measure the resistance of the sensor.

Along with the top comment on the F24 code, if the two black wires have become disconnected, the washer will not reset. That's what happened with mine, the wires are located on the bottom of the washer behind the lower white panel, and the connection for these two wires is near behind the wash tub, use a mirror to look back there it worked for me, Thank God!!

I'm wondering what the noise is like. Is the noise only while you are cutting / under load? Is the blade smoking? What type of wood are you cutting?

If you can locate an old Delta Fence, I have seen those transplanted to a number of other table saws quite easily and reliably.

Otherwise aftermarket, there is the Beismeyer fence, it was adopted by Delta and licensed. You can get them through Delta or even Amazon. There are other vendors. You will want to add outfeed tables and extension tables as well.

You did not indicate which saw you have, but in general terms this applies to most saws.

Deihl analog timer has segments around edge of timer dial.
Segments can be set in or out.
Use finger to set segments one way or the other way.
The dial rotates a full circle each day.
The segments move small switch.
The switch turns light on and off.

Hi, the manual describes how to use positive powers , but am try to locate the negative powers and unable to do so. eg 2 to the power of minus 10. Can you direct me the page. thanks

Make sure you use the +/- key and not the - key to enter negative numbers. For your example, press 2 SHIFT [y^x] 1 0 +/- =

Refer to the "Negative Numbers" in the "Getting Started" section of the manual (page 24 in my copy).

You don't give a zip code to help with locating the bearings, but looking in your yellow pages or google
"bearings" and your zip code for local bearing distributors.

You can adjust the location where the blade drops into the groove in the table. Look on page 24 of this manual and you will see exactly how to adjust the table:
