This is a VT-45 (not a TC32 as mentioned), right? If its just the lower zone that isn't cooling, it could be a few things that are happening. Most likely the fan isn't working or there is a sensor issue monitoring temperature for the lower zone. I'd recommend having a service person diagnose to be sure. Otherwise, have you contacted the manufacturer, Vinotemp, for help as of yet?

There are a few things that might be happening here. You may have a fan issue causing the cool air to not reach/circulate in your lower zone. Otherwise, there could be a sensor issue with the unit. I'd recommend having a repair person diagnose which part is not working and then order a replacement part from Vinotemp. Otherwise, have you spoken with Vinotemp directly yet? Is the unit still under warrantly? (This is a VT-45, right? You mention it holds 45 bottls but the listing says its a TC32 wine cooler?) I hope that helps.

There is hoarfrost in the top of the upper level and water at the bottom. What can we do? Is it better to turn off the appliance and let it de-ice? Did you hear about this problem before? Thank yo

I have had a similar problem with a commercial fridge that uses a fan to move the cold air around. The cooling elements get frozen and so no cold air is distributed by the fan.
It seems to happen when there is a weather change, maybe something to do with humidity?
Try turning it off for a day (put towels down) and then it should be fine.

How do I connect a 24v damper motor with 6 colored wires red white yellow green blue black to NO COM NC terminals.

Choose two colors of the thermostat wire, and connect them to the NO and COM and connect them to the zone control board leads for the zone intended. Almost all zone valves spring return open when deenergized. So ensure the zone valve is open with the system is off. At the base of zone valve there is a set screw that needs to engage the damper valve shaft in the open position with the motor in the spring release position. Most zone valve are 90 degree moment from full open to full shut. If you have a Carrier zone valve, they go full open to full shut in 45 degrees of motion. Your open stop need to be set so the valve stops in the full stop position.
To help understand the operation of a zone system, say you have 2 zone system and zone 1 thermostat initiates a heat or cool demand. Zone 2 valves energizes and shuts and zone 1 stays open and allow air to heat/ cool zone 1. If zone 2 thermostat simultaniously initiates the same heat/cool demand, the zone 2 valve opens and both zone heat/cool. When either thermostat is satisfied the opposite zone valve closes and when both thermostat are satisfied both zone valves open.
Hope this helps you understand zone operation. The same works for higher multizone systems.

I need a wine cooler with more than two zones for cooling. Does anyone know of a multi-zone cooling system that I can purchase?

There are quite a few high-end multi-zone wine coolers. I found you a great 3-zone 143 bottle system. I must warn you, it is very expensive.

I purchased a 52 bottle kitchen aid wine cooler. No matter where I set the thermostat, it is always 45 degrees and readouts are sideways "T's" instead of numbers.

The beverage center and wine cellars have a temperature display for each zone. 12 volts

AC is supplied to the display board from a transformer in the unit compartment. The displays are only temperature displays and have nothing to do with any cooling function. A thermistor is used to sense temperature for each zone. The thermistor for the bottom zone is located inside the lower portion of the separator. The thermistor for the top zone on the wine cellar, (mid zone on beverage

center), is located in the upper portion of the separator. The thermistor for the beverage center upper zone is located on the inside of the 2-piece evaporator cover. It is on the right-hand side.

The mid temperature for the bottom zones on either unit are 60? Fahrenheit plus or minus 5 degrees. The mid temperature for the mid zone on the beverage center and the top zone

on the wine cellar is 45? Fahrenheit plus or minus 5 degrees. The mid temperature for the

top zone on the beverage center is 38? Fahrenheit plus or minus 5 degrees. I think at tis time you should check each section with a pocket size digital thermometer to cofirm tha the mechanical thermostat is within calibration. Click Here=> 4344690 Temperature Control

I believe the problem may be in the PCB transformer shown at the bottom right corner of the wiring diagram. It is possible o change the transformer but I have not been able to find the board that powers the LED temperature readouts. If needed let me know and I will call Whirlpool mfor you, Thanks, Sea Breeze

Temperature in both upper and lower zones will not go lower than 50F. Cooler has 3 bottles of wine. Is there away to recharge with coolant/clean fans...? Thank you

The condenser coils dissipate heat. If dust and debris accumulate around the coils, your refrigerator may not be able to cool properly, it may run continuously or it may stop completely as a result of an overheated compressor.

Before cleaning the condenser coils, unplug the refrigerator to avoid a shock hazard.

Vacuum or brush the coils. If coils have a filmy build-up, use warm soapy water to clean them. Take care not to spill or drip water onto the components of the refrigerator.

Hello sir, the system zone-2 temp., always keeps flashing in red.

It is a motherboard problem. But you can disable that alarm from the BIOS. I would simply raise the upper threshold in zone two from 56 to 60 if I were you. If it still flashes red put it back to 56 and disable it.
