Double check that both the master and wave volume is up higher- if that does not help, use a pair of headphones to see if it is the speakers failing- if the speakers are failing, you can use the headphone jack in the meantime- and contact your laptop's manufacturer for a repair.

Hi there,if you are running your internet with a normal telephone line you should get a POTS filter for your sound problem. This splitter splits data and voice.

I cant hear the tv

Hello drive2darim,

OK first check you converter box, Cable TV/ Satellite TV volume control and turn it up to 100%.

Then check the menu on your TV for audio settings and set them to there default settings. This should take care of this issue.

I hope this helps,

Thank you,

Cannot hear the sond on Sylvannia TV 6615LCT

This will sound strange, but some DVD players and cable boxes have separate volume controls. I would check the settings for both of those to make sure that the volume has not been turned down and also check the connections from the dvd player and cable box to the tv. Make sure all connections are solid.

Sound

You may have your audio presets on your DVD too low. check your menu to make sure those presets are correct. As for Surround Sound it is a sound technique that involves having multiple speakers to give the impression of moving sound, not just hearing from the left or the right as in stereo, but hearing the way you are exposed to in real life sound moves around you this combines the doppler effect from many directions at once, example: as a car move towards you with its horn blowing the sound gets louder as it passes you the sound gets lower however, each of your ears hears the sound diferently, thats how come you can tell if the car is to your left or to your right vs coming straight at you and as it passes you, you can tell if the car is on your left or right from your rear. Surround sound is an attempt to do this without actual movement. I hope this helps.
