SOURCE: My Keurig pot will not stay on, nor will it get "ready to brew"

Mine just started doing the exact same thing today. I just bought it a little over thirty days ago. I called Keurig {1-866-901-BREW (2739) Representatives are available 7:00 am to 12:00 midnight EST, 7 days a week}

They are sending me a whole new unit (3-10 biz days) and told me to discard my old one. Said it was a problem with the internal water heater so it powers down automatically after it fails.

It typically makes a boiling water sound after brewing as it heats the next batch of water... that is where it is failing in mine.. and yours as it seems. You can call and see if yours is still under warranty and possibly get a replacement unit. Serial number is on the face of the unity behind the drip tray on the front. It's long .. three sets of numbers and letters.

hope this helps

SOURCE: The add water light stays on not matter how much water is in the reservoir

I found this site after having the same problem. None of my whacking and shaking helped. I think the magnet is a float, that's how it monitors water level, and it was floating so you would think it was working, right? Wrong. I poured the water out, shook the magnet around, installed the reservoir, and poured the water back in. The indicator changed to ready, life is good again.

SOURCE: Keurig after filling cup fails to pull water from reservoir

Take off the metal plate on the bottom of the maker. Remove the 2 black screws holding the inlet from the tank. The plastic elbow on the end on the grey foam-wrapped check valve has vibrated loose. Carefully cut the zip tie around the rubber tube on the elbow and remove the elbow from the tube. Re-epoxy (with 5 minute epoxy) the elbow onto the checkvalve. Let it harden completely. Put it back together with a new zip tie. If your maker leaks and won't brew this is also the fix.
Good luck.

Shutting itself off

There are a couple reasons that the B70 might stop in the middle of brewing so one cannot be certain. The first one is where there are calcium carbonate deposits on the heating element and as the water in the boiler is agitated during pumping there is inadequate heating from the heating element and the thermostat shuts the brewing off when cooler water rises to the thermostat. Try running a mixture of 50/50 white vinegar through the unit a couple timesxto dissolve the calcium deposits or descale the unit per Keurig instructions. Secondly, it could be a faulty thermostat. If you are not handy, mechanically oriented I suggest buying a new one is best, least expensive. I believe that keurig coffee makers are able to brew 5000 cups without a problem. However our experience is that units with more than 5000 brews are prone to leakage, electricalr problems.

Our brand new keurig mini plus wont heat or dispense water

I had the same problem with my Mini ! I also had this problem with my last Mini which was given to me and I tossed out. So I replaced with the new one which just went on the fritz. Called Keurig who were very helpful and told me to descale, but I explained the machine is almost new. So I prodded them for what else could cause the problem and its water that is too cold.

Turns out the problem is that I was using very cold water and the machine can sense the water is cold and will not heat. It does not heat so it wont damage the heating element. I was using 40 degree water from the fridge.

My symptoms were: I would fill it, that the blue light would flash, I would push the button, then the red light would flash and then nothing it would shut off after a while. Now with not so freezing water it works fine!

Hope this helps as I threw out a good machine because the water was too cold!

Won't prime

The water pump system is not primed properly. Remove the water tank while the pump is running and put back a couple of times. If not working, when the power is off, using a straw, blow air through and try to **** through the water port at the bottom of Keurig. Plug the water tank again in and start the system. It will take some time to prime, keep trying. There is nothing wrong with the machine, but the water pump circuit.

We change the burner for the water heater, it stay li ari=ound 35 minutes, heat the water and after is turning on completely, even the small flame don't stay lit. What we need to do?

you mean it is only staying on for 35 minutes, if this is the case, then readjust or replace thermal coupling, if bad it will not sense the flame or pilot light. it has to be in pilot light flame as to work properly. ( this is for a gas hot water heater). if bad it will shut gas off to heater.

Keurig B66 coffee maker randomly stays on and brews.

I have called Keurig and gotten replacements for units... however... all keurigs will heat water... then stop... after a while, the water will get cool, and the unit will cycle on.
when you say shuts itself off, the whole unit does Dark?
If the whole unit goes dark, then you may have a bad overtemp sensor... most if not all appliances will have this featurew to shutdown everything if the sensors detect a higher then normal temperature.

If that's happening... call Keurig and tell them this,,, they should honor the warranty and ask you to send them you K-cup holder as proof of ownership... then you will get a replacement.
you now have a unit for parts or to sell on ebay for parts...

I can allways use the parts... :)

After a few minutes of burner heating the water, gas shuts off.

A couple of things to check:

If possible, remove the pilot gas assembly and clean the gas jet and thermocouple - they can get carboned up and stop working properly. Make sure the pilot flame and deflector is aimed properly and making the thermocouple glow red hot. If the problem persists, you may want to replace the thermocouple and also check the propane regulator.
