IPod Nano 4GB model# A1236 will no longer turn on. ======================== Q: how can i get my iPod Nano working again? I normally charged it thru a docking staying that i sometimes would use to listen/play. Normally I listen to the Nano with headphones on the bus. i would listen until battery completely dead. then next day charge and use. one day i couldn't charge it or turn on. My other iPod model# MB147ZP continues to work and charge in the same docking station.

Sounds like a dead battery. You'll have to send it into Apple, or find the parts on ebay and do it yourself.

Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

Connect it to your computer via the USB cord. You can also get adapters which will allow you to charge it using a wall socket (AC power). The adapter plugs into the wall, and then you plug the Nano's USB cord into the adapter.
