My Miele front load washer is leaking from the bottom. The most water is coming from the drain hole in the bottom (about a quarter cup per wash cycle), but it's also slowly leaking along the bottom out of any small openings and along the seams. I've checked the lint trap and reset the ball-valve as described in the Miele manual, but it's no improvement. Doesn't appear to be wet anywhere but around the drain hole (ie: hose is dry and so is the housing around the lint trap).

Main wash light flashing is a heating fault. You either have a faulty temp sensor (NTC) or the pressure chamber has blocked and the heater element has popped.

Check your exit hose spigot, it may be clogged. This is if your filter is all clean. There should be air for passage in the standpipe behind. Your hose should not fit airtight into the standpipe and neither too deep into it. Snaking out your standpipe would be good too.
Your filter of the water inlet valve is accessible outside the machine; it is at the water entry point. Close your faucet & check this out; this gets clogged often.
Hope i am helpful...... Click on 'thanks for trying' if not helped, your prob will be back for someone else to solve.

The leaks in a washing machine could be coming from many different places in the washer.
The first place you need to check is behind the washer, check the two fill hoses and the water mixing valve.
The next thing to do is to remove the front panel, set the washer on the regular cycle and turn it on to start filling.
Use
a drop light and check all the hoses under the washer as the washer is
filling. Make sure to keep your hands away from any moving parts.
If
the hoses are ok, check the pump for leaks. When the bearings in the
pump wear out, that is when the pump will get noisy and that could
cause your Maytag top load washing machine water leaks.
Another
place that the washer could leak water from, is the stem & seal on
the holding tank. When washer leaks water from the stem & seal, the
water leaks down the center of the transmission.
When the stem
& seal need to be replace, the tub bearing has to be replace at the
same time. This is an expensive repair if you have to pay someone to do
it. If you do it yourself it will cost you about $110

I'd bet the holes are the same size as the holes in the dryer tumbler. the only thing I can think of is that your dryer isn't tumbling and the heat that is pushed through the holes is burning your clothes.
