Question about Kenmore 659 Electric Dryer
Check the house breakers for the dryer circuit--push off, then on. If no help, possibly the door switch in the dryer is defective. Check the voltage at the slanted slots in the power socket--It should read ~220 volts AC. If zero or near, one of the two breakers is faulty, or the wiring between the breakers and the dryer power socket is loose or broken. Some of this may require the services of an electrician.
